Free and public, the longest lanes are about 110-150 yards. Please clean up your trash when you leave.

Need to sight in that hunting rifle? Just put to target hit? This is one of the best outdoor ranges to do all that.

Ok so like Joshua Tree. I need more places like this. Open. Available to the public. No rules because courtesy should be the standard. 8-4-24 Yeah I prefer places like this the most. Open to the public. For the public. Amazing

Great place to go to sight in your rifles. Stopped here to verify our rifles before heading out on our hunt. It's easy to find and there's no fees.

If it's been wet recently than the place is really muddy don't get your car stuck. Don't expect any long-range, the farthest Lane distance is approximately 150 yd. There are not any berms separating individual Lanes and it's too far from each other to comfortably yell cease fire so you kind of have to just hope the next Lane over doesn't cross fire into your lane. They are a distance far enough apart that it wasn't too much of a worry though The lanes are all angled up hill. Bring your own targets. The backstop has a tremendous echo and you can hear the bullets ricochet it's a surreal sound. 14 individual Lanes total. You need to sneak around the corner to find all of them. There are no shooting benches or rests. If you want to sit then bring your own chair and table There is no bathroom or shelter of any kind. There is is no official Range Safety Officer on duty. Safety is your own responsibility! Cool place to relax with casual shooting. Not the place for intense tournament style shooting. No restrictions on rate of fire or magazine load out.

Drunk hicks and urban youths will put your life at risk while you're changing targets. BLM is too worthless to put in some gravel so if it's rained it's a mud pit. The lanes are also all on a slope despite evidence someone comes with a machine to scrape the malt liquor cans off the lanes. But hey, it's free, perty out there, and that's just how they do things 'round here.

Great spot to go shooting. Lanes are far apart from eachother. Bring your own targets and clean up when you're done.

This is no different than driving out to your (a) pasture and placing a target that you pace off yardage yourself and blast away. There are no yardage markers, no target posts, no benches of any kind, and not even a garbage can/dumpster to aid in the cleaning up after yourself. This is a hill you shoot at and thats it.

They are not kidding you have all the room you need to measure out your own shooting distances get there early though so you can be done counting off steps when folks start to shoot.

Awesome place to target practice! Took my son out the other day to get his scope set on his Marlin 60. Plenty of other shooters out as well but every one was in a designated lane so never once did I feel it was dangerous. It was a great time for both my son and I!! Free to use as well so that's awesome as well!

It's free to use. Has 8 lanes that are spaced out on a 1/4 strech of dirt road. you can shoot just about any gun you can legally own. It's a clean up after your self place so I try and not leave anything out there besides bullets and broken clays. Explosive targets are not allowed. It closes at sun down.
