This range really has so many cool features. A lot bigger than you'd think from the drive in. Absolutely love the clay shoot range wrapped around a small mountain. Great views. Range employees are awesome. You'll love this place.

Friendliest staff i have ever encountered in over 50 years. Not like other ranges where they give you an attitude or act like they are God's gift to the gun/range world, the staff here are welcoming, patient and easygoing, yet you get a strong sense of their experience, confidence and expertise in the industry minus an attitude. Thank you 5 Dogs!

ThereΓÇÖs a lot of space out here. ThereΓÇÖs ranges to accommodate a number of shooting options including skeet shooting. The membership fees are very low and affordable.

Just got back from a family outing there. They were very accommodating, friendly and safe staff. I feel welcomed and treated with fairness and respect. I have to renew my membership in a few days and IΓÇÖll be back out next weekend. A+ place to have fun in a safe environment.

Friendly people and great prices. The only problem is that there is very little when it comes to options to shoot at. A few metal targets and some cardboard at the end of the range, but it's pretty basic. There needs to be more options.

Instructor very detailed in his training. Safety is a number on priority and trains you with every possible scenario. I would recommend the company.

A good place to practice shooting. It was fun doing target practice with the clays and steel targets. Personally I'm out of practice with my shooting, but it was fun doing target practice and watching others shoot clays. Staff is great and everyone on the range minds their own business.

Fun range. Has just about everything youΓÇÖd need for a range trip. They sell targets and ammo and will supply ear/eye pro & a staple gun if needed. All you need to bring is your firearm and driverΓÇÖs license to sign up if youΓÇÖre new. Spent all morning on the rifle range zeroing some new optics and enjoyed being able to shoot targets from 25-550yds. Nowhere else near Bakersfield offers such a variety of targets at different distances to test yourself & your rifle and letΓÇÖs be honest. Banging steel is just fun. Staff was great. They walk all new members through the rules and different ranges and answer any questions you may have. You can ask them to set up your targets and theyΓÇÖll make sure the range is clear and safe before anyone walks down range. ItΓÇÖs hot in the summer so bring some shade. I was there for a few hours and my rifles got pretty hot in the sun. Had a blast though. Definitely worth the drive. CanΓÇÖt wait to go back.

They have very rude employees and they have very poor targets and 1 million rules that don't have nothing to do with safety. I guess being the only local outdoor range we are forced to go but if you have another legal place then go.

This range is out in the middle of BFE CA. That said, itΓÇÖs a good outdoor rifle, shotgun and pistol/revolver range. Many different options for shooting targets and zeroing in your scope. Staff is friendly and helpful but strict on safety. The only drawback is its location.

I experienced a wonderful meeting with the guys at 5 Dogs Range. I was able to finally get there to activate my online membership and was greeted by the nicest and most professional team one could hope for when coming to a shooting range. They explained everything we needed to know clearly and asked if there were any questions at each discussion. We asked several questions that I am sure were silly but they were so happy to answer. He said: better to know than to make a mistake that might injure someone. I was glad to see the diverse range of people there as well. They too were all so nice and welcoming. We look forward to a long and happy relationship with 5 Dogs Range. Thank you for a great experience.
