My husband and I have been to 5H Sport several times and everyone is always so courteous and helpful. We had my son and some friends take lessons out there a couple of years ago and they really enjoyed it. Yesterday we went for a tower pheasant shoot and had a blast! We shot .410 and 28 gauge (most had 12 gauge) and it was so much fun.

This place is a shooters paradise!!! The staff is amazing and professional. The range Marshall Chris, I canΓÇÖt say enough good things about this man. He was amazing with my kid. He helped my boy and I assemble and sight our rifle to the point we are both driving nails. Fellow shooters were helpful and friendly as well. YΓÇÖall made our day and our hunting season! Thank you!!!

Some of the most nicest people ever own, work, & and practice here. No matter how much of a ignorant question you might have, they never look at you like a fool, they answer your question and will always help you to become a better disciplined shooter.

Did a day trip with some friends. We were impressed with how friendly and helpful the owners were. The facilities were the best in the area with the rifle range going out to 1000yrds. If youΓÇÖre into clays and distance itΓÇÖs the place for you. Definitely worth the hour and a half drive.

Nice clean shooting range. Several high banked 50 yards ranges, one setup with steel targets including a Texas star. Long range out to 1000 yards. And trap.

Very nice facility, we came down from Oklahoma for NHRA and stopped by here and shot sporting clays. They have 3 courses, we only had time for one but it is very nice. The rifle ranges looked nice as well as the skeet and trap. I would recommend this place if you are nearby.

Stopped by this morning to use their rifle range and was not disappointed!! Awesome setup covered concrete slab with shooting tables and well taken care of. Staff was friendly and helpful but huge shout out to Chris very knowledgeable! Once we got velocity data, I was ringing steel at 500 yards within minutes. Will be back regularly!!

Friendly staff, nice place. Although, a little pricey specially if you want to shoot hand guns and clays. $20 per person for paper targets and 47 cents per clay. We were there an hour and spent $100

Super friendly and nice people and a great gun range if you're located nearby! They have rentals and bullets and targets for very cheap and if you haven't shot before they give a little demo as well just in case. Definitely a good place to come back to to shoot more guns!

I remember this range when it was the Chicken Ranch. I had lots of fun shooting here when I was a kid and had a blast (get it?) pulling trap for competitors. I hope I get invited back to help out again.

Nice folks, but if you go, be aware of the price hike and take everything you need with you. Prices for the rifle range have doubled since the 2021 deer season, going from $10 to $21. YouΓÇÖll have to share 1 target frame between 3 shooting benches if there are other shooters present. Paper targets donΓÇÖt come with the price of admission; youΓÇÖll need to buy them for $1 each if you donΓÇÖt bring your own. You should also bring your own staple gun and pasties or tape too, unless you want to leave your ID for collateral. IΓÇÖd recommend the range in Palestine. They still only charge the regular, rural East Texas rate of $10 for admission with complimentary foam ear plugs, 3 paper targets and your own target frame per shooting bench with admission.

My first time here (and maybe the last). Terrible signage - nothing on the roads to let you know where to check in, or where the clubhouse is. After finding the office to check in and the paying for use of the pistol range, I had to ask where the range was - no information given to me, and no site maps either in print form or posted anywhere to be seen! So, I find out where the pistol range is, head over and start setting up. No yardage markers, posts, barrels or anything to let you know distance (other than having to pace it off yourself). Went down range to hang some paper targets, and the wood to staple the targets to has been shot up so much, and so neglected, that there was nothing left to staple to. And, most of the ranges that I have been to have at least some tape, and some have staple guns - nope, none of that here. You had better bring EVERYTHING you need with you, because there will be nothing provided for you! The last thing I noticed as not being provided was any kind of canopy or shelter. It got a bit toast out there, and after being roasted for an hour or so in the direct sun, I decided to call it quits!

Made a day trip to @5houtdoors in Frankston Tx for their registered shoot yesterday. The owners brought ice cream to us on the course! They set some great targets as well. Thanks so much for the hospitality. It was a great change of pace from Houston.

Stopped by here today to check it out. Driving through the front gate I was instantly in awe of the beauty of the property. The staff inside the shop were super helpful and knowledgeable. Graham was very friendly and helpful. The other gentlemen that answered questions was also very helpful but i didnt catch his name. Great place to buy some ammo and go shoot! The animals on display were amazing for the kids to see! Neat place overall!!
