Q: Hello, I was just wondering if this is open to the public or if you have to be a member?
A: Hey Jim, generally speaking, ranges on state game lands like this one are open to anyone with a valid hunting license, law enforcement, military for no entry fee. If none of that applies you may need to purchase a day pass or permit depending on the range.

Really clean depending on the people who are there, please pick up your shells lol. The best part is the few encounters IΓÇÖve had with the wardens were very friendly, they just talk to you to see how youΓÇÖre doing, not to give you any problems. I recently moved from California and those guys were peepee heads out there.

Great facilities. The range is well kept, there is pistol range and a rifle range. The rifle range has 25 yards, 50 yards, 75 yards(I think), and 100 yards. The 100 yards has the most seats. Getting there early, 8am, there is usually no one that early.
