I can't say I'll be coming back anytime soon. Nothing against anyone at the front desk as everyone up front has always been friendly. The facility is also very well maintained. The range officers on the other hand are hit or miss.. there's no consistency. You either get a friendly range officer or you'll get someone who treats you like you've never touched a gun before. Safety is the most important thing but no need to breathe down everyone's neck to get the point across. This place is the closest range to me but yet I drive 35+ minutes out just so I don't deal with the nonsense.

Great place to get reps. Range officers are diligent and make it a safe place to bring family members who express an interest in shooting. They also have a great group of instructors. I've been going for years, I am finally becoming a member.

I attended a safety LTC course today. Christian taught the class. Very informative and made it very comfortable. He was easy to listen to and very approachable which made it easy to ask question. Took allot of notes and learned allot. Thank you Christian I will be returning to sign up and attend the beginner shooter class.

Took my LTC safety course today. Christain Pullano was our instructor. Made the experience enjoyable and educational. Would definitely recommend taking any of the classes the school offers. Will definitely be signing up for more classes with Christian. Top notch guy!!!!

Came here with my wife for a class, it was a date night type of thing. It was such an awesome informational and super fun experience. The instructor Christian made the class that much better. It was a 5hr class, and when I tell you it went so smooth and fun, didnΓÇÖt feel like 5hrs went by. The people here are really awesome and helpful when not knowing about something or needing help.

I went here for a training class. When I walked in it was a great atmosphere, everyone was nice and pleasant. Ive never taking a safety coarse before. I wasn't sure what to expect. The instructor was amazing, gave so much information. I'm deffently going to be returning in the future. I highly recommend them.

I mean what can I say. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and helped right away. No hesitation on helping me out buy extra mags as well as going through all the rules and safety. Very clean facility and big as well. The RSOΓÇÖs were amazing and helpful with anything I had questions with. Come to this location weather it be bringing your own firearm, taking classes or renting guns to shoot for fun. Safe,great,perfect staff nothing better than that!!!!! Definitely will be a returning customer. Thank you for everything!

I've been shooting here for a year now. I have had all positive experiences. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable, and safety is always #1. The RSOs are really on top of things, and quick to react if anything is amiss, they give corrections and pointers if needed, and they will help if you have questions. Today the customer service was above and beyond: Curtis helped me learn to handle my shotgun properly, Christian cleared the gun after it jammed and he explained the problem so I would know if it happened again. The guys out front at the desk are great too. Good experience, good vibes from the moment you walk in.

My wife and I had our 1st experience today at AFS, we had a great time we met and were Introduced to some of the people that ran the place they were very professional, friendly, and considerate because of our lack of experience, but they made us feel comfortable! It was a Saturday and it was very busy but they had a spot for us! I loved my first time there and I plan on joining! They have so much to offer, if youΓÇÖre a beginner this is the place, my wife is new to guns so she signed up with a group of women for a day course! Our thanks to all! lookin forward to the next time especially being retired I can pick and choose my days during the week!

I was introduced to this place by a close friend of mine, I must say coming here for a few shooting sessions was fun. Nothing like learning to use different types of fire arms but I gotta say my top fav is the Ak15 he taught me how to reload the 9mm how to use them in a safe correctly way. Everyone here puts safety first they are professional, I enjoy coming here for shooting sessions.

DEAR YOUNG BLACK MEN… Don’t listen to everything you read on her and go check the place out for yourself. Coming from a YOUNG BLACK MAN. I owned guns for about a yr and a half before I decided to get legit with my skills. Took the safety course even though I didn’t have to. Instructor was cool as hell. After that we’ve been on a first name basis. it’s more than just business because we actually talk about more than guns and shooting whenever we see each other. I bring my own, ammo, targets and guns. I don’t spend a lot of money there and yet they all treat me with respect. Plenty of YOUNG BLACK MEN & Women come here. I’m alone mostly! If you happened to have been turned away I can only imagine what you did or said that made them think you wouldn’t be safe. Regardless if you are safe or not your first impression is everything. I never met anyone with NO EXPERIENCE have their LTC… that doesn’t even make sense lol How’d you get your LTC if you had no experience. You took the test with no practice and aced it first try? You should be shooting competitions or at the Olympics lol anyways. Couldn’t name the person who racist either? You went through the whole ordeal and never caught a name? Anyways. Try the place out for yourself before taking any review to the heart. INCLUDING MY REVIEW. If there is a racist working at this Range I haven’t met them. I’m a young black man, with Guns, in America and I’ve never had a problem at this range. Was there tonight and more than half the lanes were filled with Black People. Had my Shotgun, 2 Glocks and Canik with me. Lane 10. I’m go there OFTEN. Don’t take my word or anybody else’s. Try it out for yourself. Today!!!!

Everyone I've interacted with at the School has been professional and supportive. From the instructors to the front desk to the range officers, they provide a solid environment for practicing and improving your skills. The class material is presented methodically and pragmatically for you, for your family, and for everyone's safety.

This place is not for YOUNG BLACK MEN. IF YOU ARE A YOUNG BLACK MAN HOPING TO SHOOT HERE, I RECOMMEND BRINGING A FEMALE OR A WHITE MAN WITH YOU. I was denied ΓÇ£due to my experienceΓÇ¥ which was a complete lie but I guess itΓÇÖs their ΓÇ£go to excuseΓÇ¥ for BLACK MEN ONLY. it makes complete 0 sense to deny someone due to experience if the shooting range is where you go to gain the experience! This place has the lanes on camera right at the register. He literally told me that he doesnΓÇÖt know how safe I would be with a firearm even though I came with my OWN firearm and ammo lol. This place is a FIREARM ACADEMY and they turned me down because I didnΓÇÖt know how to shoot LMAO. No one offered to see anything. Just an ΓÇ£oh well but hey youΓÇÖre a cool guyΓÇ¥. It felt like the racist was upset a black man had his LTC and was actually serious about gaining shooting experience. If you are willing to take the drive then please visit OnTarget Firearms in Dracut Ma. They are knowledgeable, respectful but most importantly not racist. Plus their range is open late as well and even later on the weekends. Again, BLACK MEN STAY AWAY OR THEY WILL FIND A REASON TO KEEP YOU AWAY!

I took the Learn to Shoot Course and I can say it definitely was worth the money. Darius was awesome he was very clear in his instruction and I learned a lot and his teaching definitely showed up on the range. I would recommend coming here if you want to learn how to shoot or if its your first time dealing with firearms.

Clean, safe, friendly and organized, but a little pricey. Expect a lane for 2, 4 targets and 4 boxes of ammo to run you about $150 (this is assuming youΓÇÖre bringing your own firearms). In the case you arenΓÇÖt bringing your own fire arms they have a great selection to rent as well.

Only place that stays open late, so perfect for after work sessions. Jim and Eddie are awesome at their jobs, this place even helped me get my license in RI. Highly recommend. Sure itΓÇÖs not the newest or fanciest range but the staff and the environment makes up for it. Not to mention, any firearm that IΓÇÖm interested in, they will more than likely have it for rent here.

Spent $70 to be told itΓÇÖs only one lane. When asked how I could obtain my own lane as my husband and I wanted our own, they then advise me we can only have one as itΓÇÖs too busy today and members only have their own lane. WonΓÇÖt be coming back. I waited in the car until my husband was done. Pretty much ruined the weekend plans.

Went for my best friends birthday. 2 of us have a little experience and the 3rd in our group was a complete newbie. Employees were absolutely amazing and helped us every time we needed it. Will definitely be back again.

I was a member here for quite some time, my experiences were always great up until today. I got to my space, took out my unloaded handgun, and placed it on the table in front of me. The range officer hustles over and tells me to lock the slide back, perfectly fine, I do that. About 5 minutes pass, and I go through my second mag. The range officer tells me I need to step back because my brass is flying towards the box next to me. This baffles me, I am within my own space, ive always made sure of this before beginning to shoot. This irritates me, and I notify the range officer I'll be leaving. Honestly, this one star stems from the fact that the angry little guy chased me out. I fed him a little bit saying I'll stick to shooting elsewhere and his answer was "ARE WE TOO SAFE FOR YOU HERE?". I was leaving. There was absolutely no reason to create a confrontation. It was not a great time. I am just happy I did not re-up my membership before it happened. Edit: I'm adding one star for the front desk, they have always been great.

Thank you American Firerarms School for being TOP NOTCH! Highly recommend Instructor Joe R! This was my very first of many private lesson. He succeeded way beyond all my expectations ! Being a female in a male dominate sport. He took the time and patience to explain every detail and helping me feel confident . Gave me homework to do until my next lesson . Next lesson canΓÇÖt come fast enough !

This place is great, not only is the staff some of the nicest guys around, they have a combined several years of experience with firearms and are skilled at teaching firearms and safety training. This place is quite large with two indoor ranges for both rife and pistol, plus training classrooms to train for both MA and RI LTC qualification. Plus they have a huge selection of rental weapons to try both rifle and pistol and they are a very safe place with range safety officers carefully observing all movements in both ranges. They also sell targets and ammo and other gear. Membership here is a good price and the hours are also good and its convenitenly located on the Attleboro/Plainville line.

Had my LTC for months but was putting off getting a firearm or trying to shoot because I had no idea how to properly hold, handle or shoot a gun, nor did I have anyone experienced to show me. I am so glad I signed myself and my fiancé up for the learn to shoot class because it answered all of our questions and gave us all the beginner info we needed so that we could feel confident to start. Joe was an excellent instructor, and communicator . We immediately signed up as members after the class because we were so pleased with the facility. I already set up another instruction and can’t wait to take more of the classes !

Some years ago I took a training course here, Christian was the instructor. After completing the training I was motivated to continue my training and get my permit, however I did not. I went back spoke with Christian and the team at AFS, and am I back on track with my daughter, I am so glad I did. Our first session was with Joe and we were not disappointed at all. Joe went above and beyond for us, but I don't think he did this for just us. I can't help but believe he works with everyone in the same way. Which is to say he took every opportunity to give us more solid nuggets of knowledge, from A-Z he answered all our questions. Which was perfect because we didn't know a thing. Hands on we needed a few reminders of hand and finger placement, he never wavered just kept reminding us until we remembered. He walked us through the first steps to owning a firearm safely in our home with solid information. We will definitely return. Thanks Christian and Joe we look forward to our next visit.

Stopped by the range for the first time today. Super friendly staff. Ended up buying a few things while there - Ed was great to deal with.
