I took the Enhanced Carry Permit class today at Summer Gun & Supply. Minerva was my instructor. SheΓÇÖs fabulous! She was very patient, kind, and thorough. SheΓÇÖs laid back and cares about making everyone feel comfortable, welcomed and seen. She answered everyoneΓÇÖs questions with much knowledge and expertise. I definitely feel more confident after taking the course and will continue to take more courses at Sumner Gun Range to better my shooting skills and confidence. By the way, Sumner Gun & Supply is a safe environment with ample and easy parking. All the employees and instructors at are knowledge and extremely helpful!!!

My husband, grown daughter and I took a private with Minerva! She was amazing! She made sure we understood gun safety, and then got us on the range! She made it fun and exciting! When she realized that we were a competitive family, she kicked it up and created games for us! She made sure all of our questions were answered, and gave each of us the confidence that we need to come back and practice on our own!

Enhanced Permit Class info was clear and concise. Material prepared me for the permit test. Instructor (Minerva) was knowledgeable and could provide real world scenarios to better explain material. Happy to take the class at this location.

I wanted to get over my discomfort of fire arms as well as find a gun that would work best for me for concealment. I randomly popped in on a Saturday and worked with Joel at the counter. He pulled out gun after gun after gun just so I could see them and feel each on in my hands. We got on the topic of lessons and I really wanted to make sure I was comfortable so I decided to sign up for one with Joel. Our first lesson we went over safety and eased into shooting with a small 22 to get comfortable. I went from nervous to actually looking forward to my next lesson. Joel has been a wonderful trainer, very kind and easy to work with, his knowledge is beyond impressive and he has been very flexible with scheduling. My lessons have been tailored to what I want to get out of the training versus a generic (though I'm sure always helpful) course. I recommend anyone interested in one on one training to work with him.

I participated in a private session with Minerva. She was very informative during the session as we went through the proper handling of various handguns. stance, and shooting targets. She is patient, easy to talk to, and ensures that you understand the fundamentals. I will be back!!!

Minerva was amazing helping me gain my confidence back. As a woman and new mom, I was scared to learn all over again. She helped me get back to feel confident in protecting myself and my family again. My session with her was informative and she really helped me find what works best for me. Great shop with great people! It's hard to beat their range, a lot of people shoot for free but if you don't, it's not a price per hour, you can stay the entire time. Great vet discount, using range free and 10% in store. Really appreciated and look forward to many more rounds down range!

DonΓÇÖt shoot shotguns here. their target holders have bullet holes already and are held up with tape. The second you shoot a shotgun they are going to fall/break and they will charge you for a range repair fee.

Sumner Gun & Supply is my favorite pew pew dispensary. They are super friendly and run great sales. A lot of big fancy gun stores are very uppity and act like you are bothering them for browsing. The staff at SGS are consistently genuine and love chatting and take time with you. IΓÇÖve been a member for 2 years now. Highly recommend.

I took a 1 on 1 class from Minerva and she was absolutely amazing. It was my first time shooting and she made me feel extremely comfortable and was very helpful. She made the class very informative but also fun at the same time. I definitely recommend her!

I have been to this place twice and will not go anywhere else to use a range or purchase a firearm. The first time I went here, my brother wanted to rent a pistol he was looking to purchase, to shoot in the range. They did not have this particular pistol as a rental. The team member that we were working with did however have that as his personal carry and offered it to my brother to test on the range. The second time that I went here, they wouldnΓÇÖt charge for myself or my two sons to shoot on the range because I was a military retiree. I tried to pay for at least my sons, and they wouldnΓÇÖt take it. At the end of the range session I asked them if they had a gunsmith, or knew of a good one to help with some issues that I was having with a personal AR build. One of the associates spent about 45 minutes with me tearing apart and troubleshooting my AR with me. The service here is so far above par of any that IΓÇÖve ever had at any other gun store / shooting range. I love supporting local owned businesses. It makes it even better when local businesses deserve to be supported over the big box stores because their service far surpasses the big box store. Kudos to the owner and management for hiring the right employees!

The staff at Sumner Gin & Supply are top notch and knowledgeable. The training is excellent and well put together. I just took the "Enchanced Carry Permit" class November 16th and the instructor was the best I've had to date. I'm looking forward to the training class.

Had a private lesson with Minerva. She did such an amazing job in the classroom and on the range. Got to try out a lot of pistols for self defense and felt very safe and confident working with her. Everyone in the shop has been super helpful and really takes their time with their customers. Would 100% recommend Minerva for women looking to start carrying.

This was my first time buying a firearm they took their time let me ask my questions ramble about my own thoughts and details I was looking for while also doing the same with my wife and giving her information on their women oriented courses.
