I walked into this unsure about whether or not I was ready for this purchase. I've been back and forth. After training with the lasers, I learned I was left eye dominant and it was seemingly difficult plus heavy to shoot. It was extremely uncomfortable. Ironically, the loaded weapon was far more comfortable and simpler to use. The owners were patient, informational, intentionally amazing hosts and this is a must have educational experience.

Wow! I was fairly apprehensive when my 13 year-old expressed an interest in learning to handle a real weapon as opposed to a video game. In my effort to find a good introduction, the excellent reviews led me here and they couldn't have been more correct. Mike and his team are incredibly organized, positive, methodical, and encouraging while maintaining a safe environment and being completely down to earth. We learned to clear a room in the Shoothouse - and while the 13 and 16 year-old were faster (and scored better) - my spouse and I didn't do half bad! The whole experience was both accessible and fascinating - so much so that we may choose Phoenix as a vacation destination again so that we can come back and learn more.

This was the highlight of our vacation for my boys. They love the combat video games and thought they would rule in this… they said it was incredibly challenging and they learned so much! They loved it! Mike was fantastic and spent a good deal of time after discussing the missions and training that would improve their tactical strategies! They loved getting the chance to use flash bangs and breaching the door.

Went to ATA today to treat my friends that likes tactical and gun stuff. Tom was very professional and informative. Gave great tips on making improvements and gave realistic expectations on the condensed program. Shoot House was fun and a great introduction to the idea of tactical shooting. It definitely made you think and overthink some scenarios. I would definitely come back to get more experience and explore other scenarios from ATA. Mike is a wonderful teacher and was very patient with the process of the different levels of experience with our team. Went with 8 lads for birthday gathering on Sunday 1/5/2025. Was a great experience. We learned a ton. It was great to understand the breaching & clearing rooms to properly protect your family & community. Our trainers were Mike Simpson and Mike K. They were both very informative and we appreciated they were no bs type of men because this type of training is very important due to the current circumstances within the United States. We will be back and also be doing individual training and sniping training. Thank you

My brother, dad and I did the Black Ops experience over the Christmas break and had a fantastic time! Mike was extremely prepared and detailed throughout our time together, made sure that safety was emphasized and thoughtfully answered our many questions. Though we all have a basic background with firearms, and that is beneficial, the experience could be done by anyone comfortable operating a long gun. The experience is broken down into two components, a training session in which room-clearing procedures are presented and practiced, and then a live session which puts the training into practice. The latter component is scored and done several times with the goal of improving in different scenarios. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone in search of a fun, informative and interesting activity!

Bought a gift certificate for my husband and son, as a FatherΓÇÖs Day gift. Sent them to the shoot house for a boys weekend. The fact that they couldnΓÇÖt wait to tell me everything about their experience says everything about their experience. Our son was less than thrilled to be drug to this, but by adventures end, he owned an air rifle and is completely sold on tactical adventures. The professionalism of their instructor made the experience for both of them. My husband was able to enjoy the experience with his Boy, in a way that left without the instructor would have been difficult to achieve. They are both planning for the next time they can go.

Had an amazing time!! I underestimated how well it was going to go, but this is an experience like no other. The tactics that were taught were beginner friendly and Mike Simpson did an amazing job teaching everything needed to conduct CQB, everything was evenly paced and methodically done, even when you mess up, he knows how to get you back on track and learn from those mistakes. Overall I would love to go back and enjoy the other experiences available!!

I highly recommend AZ Tactical! This was a birthday present for my 14 year old son. Our group consisted of our 11 year old daughter up to my 70 year old mother-in-law. Mike did an amazing job. He was able to teach us some basics of clearing a room of bad guys, while at the same time keeping it fun, exciting, and challenging.

Came here during a bachelor party and booked the 4 hour navy seal adventure. When I tell you that this was well worth the time and money I canΓÇÖt express how Professional Mike was and how he was able to teach so much so well and in a short amount of time. Number ONE priority of his is safety and not once during the adventure did we ever feel like something we were doing was going to end badly. It was an absolutely amazing time. If I ever come back to AZ I will be back to do another training adventure with them.
