The Armed Texans Gun Store and Range is a great facility with knowledgeable employees that are friendly and eager to help you out. The range, store and training area are clean and well maintained. I've been a member for several years now and the addition of the gun store was a great enhancement and convivence. It provides a one-stop shop for any hardware needs or wants. The 25-, 50- and 100-yard range provides a concrete floor with covering, tables and chairs. There's plenty of room to lay your gear out while setting up and reloading. They also provide two bench rests for the 100 yard, making it convenient to zero in your rifle. The stationary and reactive steel targets is also a great option to improve your pistol skills. Range safety is top priority there as they provide first aid stations at various locations and a full-time range safety person. I have taken several training courses there from both Armed Texans and their partner, Freedom Defense. All of the classes I've been to are taught with professionalism and expert knowledge of the subject area from the instructor. I will definitely be signing up for more training as my schedule permits. With regards to the pricing, the one year or two year package is the best way to go. Personally, I have stuck with the one year package, just as a personal preference. It provides the best flexibility for my schedule and budget.

This is my go to gun store and range. Great monthly events, great people, great prices. I always walk out with a story of not some more ammo and accessories too. Rent a bay for the day, and make some memories. My sons and I had fun at the turkey shoot. My high school best friend and his wife came out to visit from Dallas. My wife and I made a double date out of it, and went thru several boxes of ammo at the range. Pardon the pun, but we had a blast.

Armed Texan is where I go for all of my gun needs. They are always fully stocked on ammo and are very friendly and helpful there for anything you might want for your pistols or rifles. They have great classes there for LTC and also for gun safety. The shooting bays they have outside are awesome. I highly recommend you try armed Texans.

I've visited Armed Texan many times, the service and staff are very courteous, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. A friendly lot, that makes you just feel welcome. 😊 There range is top notch, and the instructors are professionals. A family friendly place to enjoy and have some serious FUN. Whenever I go look at some guns or ammo, they are always helpful. They always have an excellent selection. The only downside is I never have enough money to get Everything. Great work guys keep it up.

Armed Texans is a great open-to-the public range and gun shop that has a great variety of pistols and long guns. Additionally, they carry a wide range of ammo and gun accessories, I rarely come out of there empty handed. Lastly, they have great customer service and they are willing to help you find or get what you need. This range/shop Is definitely worth a stop!

The facility is amoung the finest in East Texas. Clean, well maintained and inviting. The staff in interested in the customer experience and improvement all while maintaining a safe facility. The store is well stocked and has most everything you could want. My only issue with Armed Texans is the offering of training classes. There are a number of classes listed available in their literature and on the web site, but those classes are seldom offered. That is disappointing. I would like to have a place where I can attend that can provide instruction to improve my skills.
