75$ for a transfer fee is beyond egregious, the prices have risen drastically to accommodate the multiple individuals behind the counter whoΓÇÖs only purpose is to stand around, a singular individual is all that would be necessary. From what creased range costs to bloated prices and now absurd costs for firearm transfers this is an atrocious place to do business. While places such as scheels exist that conduct business at far more reasonable prices.

League has been great. Trigger Trish is always amazing to work with on those nights. Staff is helpful as well. Clean lanes and nice showroom. Would go more often if it wasn't so far from me.

Love this place. I can be as rowdy as I want in the range. Ask the employee if I can dump my new 60 5.56 mag I just purchased from them, and they had no problem. Prefect place for practice, fun, and scope calibration

I used to be a member here, but visited today for the first time in 10 months. I don't know what happened, but this is not the same place. Instead of charging by the 1/2 hour, it is now a "Day Pass" for $24. As a non-member, I used to be able to take my two sons for 30 minutes for less than $20, not it would be $64 plus target fees. The staff was very impersonable as well. This used to be my favorite range, hands down, but I will not be returning.

VERY expensive and not so great customer service depending on whoΓÇÖs working that day. They donΓÇÖt like undecided customers, they just want you in and out, the fewer questions the better. In other words, theyΓÇÖre lazy and donΓÇÖt like to work ΓÇ£extraΓÇ¥ for no reason. You better keep track of your range time, otherwise they just let you shoot for hours and then charge you a crazy amount for the time.

Wanna say between Brian and Trish they taught me amazingly 👏. I did 2 classes with the 2 and got my shooting and accuracy improved. Took my CHP and passed it and honestly a person with no fire arm skills passed it . Trish took time to show me important vital skills to safely use a firearm and defensive skills to prepare my self as well. Shes a go to for some good training. Brian was amazing as well . Hes a througal type of guy who will show u all u need to know very respectful and even my self i struggled learning and he was complete and made sure every question was answered and knew his facts. Great ex military guy serving his country still by educating us younger generations so we once can train or help out our generations. If u wanna do ur CHP or even a basic gun training class Athena is way to go. Im a slow learner but learned basics and even simples to cleaning a gun by talking and listening to these wise folks. "Save ur blood and keep the money in ur pocket" i think it goes lol what i learned in CHP. Great place and my future gun training going forward if i can pass so can someone else as well. Once again thank u guys for helping me thru this and teaching me some very important gun rules and safety Athena 100%

Went here with my wife and daughter. Spoke to Kent. He was real knowledgeable and very helpful. The prices are pretty nice and inventory is wide range (no pun intended). Free use of eye and ear protection. Affordable targets. If my memory serves me correctly, we paid about $30 or less for 3 people for an hour.

Buyer beware if you buy a gun online and have it sent to Athena Arms it will cost you 75 dollars for the FFL fee/ transfer. ThatΓÇÖs probably the highest price in town. Cool employees and decent range.

Popped in to talk about gun range and walked out with two more firearms. Great prices, nice staff, great options/show room floor. Will be going back and bringing the boys from work to enjoy.

Great group of folks that run and work at this facility. Very helpful and informative with any questions I had. Great selection of firearms to test out for only $45 for an all day pass. Highly recommend stopping by if you need a place to practice or are looking for firsthand info on firearm recommendations. 10/10

Really loved this shop a few years ago. Pricing was decent inventory was always new and fresh and the staff members were personable and friendly. Here as of lately the new owner and staff members have completely flipped this place from what it once was. A happy fun and fair environment now turned into a business that seems to enjoy price gouging its loyal customers. I and many others are not impressed by the new staff members and their behavior in providing non effective/ abrasive customer service. I am extremely sad to report that I will no longer do business of any sort with these guys. The range is falling apart and the prices of every item in the store are down right insulting. Oh and ffl transfers are now $75… horrendous. I now will never pass up an opportunity to drive right by this place and laugh. I really hope this review is read by the owner and the new management personnel Good luck Matt, thanks for ruining a cherished local business.

I used to love it here but man have the prices gone to hell after the new owner took over. Day passes for shooting which makes it the highest priced in town. Plus they raised there transfer fees to 75.00 effective August 1. My guns arrived on July 29th but I was told they would take a few days to process, never once being told about the higher fee until I came in on August 1st. Not going back.

Been three or four times now. Staff is friendly but the range itself is a work in progress. Targets falling off into range, range system falling off track, AC unit and fan not working. Pricing isn't great, a person should be able to bring in their own targets. Just need 30 minutes, I dont need a day pass for a range session. Its just an honest review. Probably better off getting a membership so ownership can update it. But Athena is a great location. I think having to buy their targets will influence me going often.

DO NOT GO HERE. Place has gone downhill so much since 2020. The new owner is absolutely crooked. Will never being doing business here again. Scammie crooked company. Absolutely disgusting.

This used to be such an awesome place. It was kid friendly and ammo and range time were competitively priced. In the past few months, things have gone down hill. You can no longer pay for range time per half hour/hour (like most indoor ranges in the area), but rather can only buy a ΓÇ£full day pass,ΓÇ¥ which comes out to $40 for two people (for which you are told to share one lane). That or purchase a membership that reoccurs every month at $44 a person. Some people may have the time and money for ammo to get any value out of a ΓÇ£full day pass,ΓÇ¥ but itΓÇÖs not the guy who just wants to pop in with his teenager every so often and squeeze of a few rounds. Also, in the past, my middle schooler son was alway allowed to handle (safely, of course) any weapon that we were looking to buy. The manager once gave him and I his personal pistol to shoot on the range to see if we liked it, as we were considering buying the same one. Now they point to some ΓÇ£federal lawΓÇ¥ that doesnΓÇÖt exist, and wonΓÇÖt let him handle anything that we are shopping for. This was a great little spot to shop and shoot and I loved supporting them and would always steer people/shooting enthusiasts I knew their way. I spent hundreds every Black Friday, alone. No more though. ItΓÇÖs all pretty depressing.

Very professional, knowledgeable and enjoyable to be around. Reasonable pricing for lane use and rentals. Had a fun array of targets. Range was clean and worked perfectly. Will definitely be coming back again.

Got my CCW there and was so impressed, I decided to make it my ΓÇ£go-toΓÇ¥ place for all my continuing proficiency shooting needs. Low range fee rates and only place in town to purchase inexpensive range brass. Well maintained with friendly, helpful staff. All around win-win experience. Give them a try, you wonΓÇÖt regret it.

A great low key place to buy guns, shot on the range and have a good time. Knowledgeable staff that doesn't try to hard sell you all the time and classes for concealed and carry. My favorite range around highly recommended.

I've had nothing but great experiences at Athena Arms. The staff have all been extremely helpful and professional. They've answered all my questions and the training was excellent. Would definitely recommend to women who might have been uncomfortable at other ranges.
