The staff up front at Atwell's has been great. What they don't have in stock, they are more than happy to order for you. The range staff was, IMHO, the greatest. No 25 y/o who sport shoots. No, these were no nonsense veterans who have seen a thing or three. My respect for the two gentlemen who ran that range for years was earned over the years by their excellence and knowledge that was unmatched anywhere else i have been. They ran a safe and fun, laid back range, and everyone I know who shot there misses it tremendously and wishes it would reopen to the public. I have heard stories of the range re-opening, but there are issues with rebuilding parts of the range. Perhaps I can help facilitate this. I know how to weld, know lots of experienced fabricators, work for a steel company, and volunteer with some real great guys who give of their time. If ownership is interested in some volunteer work to help get the range upgraded and whipped back into shape - respond below and we can talk :-) I believe it to be in everybody's best interest to have a public range in the area (RUSA - meh), and now that LE has a brand spankin new, state of the art shooting facility up on the lake (Thanks Clerk Andrews!!!), they can go there to shoot, after getting all their gear at Atwell's, of course.

Range closed, according to staff due to coivd. Lame excuse. It's been years. Give your business to anywhere else that can get it together.

Decent place to shoot, good selection of LE products and guns. Not worth the drive from the West side, but I still had a decent experience.

It was my first time at this range today. I have to say it was a pleasure to use this range. I had an issue with my firearm and they took care of it for me. Very friendly and the price was awesome. I will definitely be going here from now on.
