Q: Do you offer gift certificates?
A: Yes we do offer gift certificates. Not plastic swipable gift cards at this time, but we can write a gift certificate with our seal for whatever value you'd like.
- Blake Hill (5 years ago)
Q: Can I shoot shotgun slugs there?
A: Yes you can they have a rifle pistol and shotgun area
- Chad Sharp (5 years ago)
Q: Shotguns allowed?
A: They don't want you to destroy the wooden targets with shotguns, but they do have one 12volt battery powered launcher on a hand cart that rents for $20. They let you shoot clays out over the back pasture with it.
- J Czechoski (6 years ago)
A: They have no clay trap or skeet.
- thomas parrish (7 years ago)
A: Nope. Not allowed.
- Rodrick Gottschalk (7 years ago)
A: No, they wont let you shoot shotgun at their targets.
- Squall ΓÇ£DemodeisΓÇ¥ Leonheart (7 years ago)
Q: Are targets sold or supplied?
A: They give you the first target with your lane fee, and then additional targets are $1 each. Nice part is they don't make you buy additional paper targets if you brought your own.
- J Czechoski (6 years ago)
A: Yes. One free with range fee. More sold if you like.
- Kirk Wilson (7 years ago)
A: You can get your own if you want.
- The Ant (7 years ago)
A: They have targets for sale.
- Beau Briggs (7 years ago)
A: One standard paper target is supplied with your lane fee. Every additional standard target is $1. Shoot-N-C targets are $3 per target. Patrick B-Tactical

Q: Can anyone shoot here, what kind of ammo can i shoot(fmj/hollow point Etc) and whats the longest range in yards. Thanks in advance
A: Fmj and hollow point are fine. Rifle range goes out to 400 yards. However, you have to qualify to shoot. They give you a diamond shaped target and you have to put 3 inside of the diamond at 100
- John-Erik Campos (7 years ago)
A: I think they wont let you shoot shotguns of any gauge unless you can give em permission.
- The Ant (7 years ago)
A: You must bring an ID with you to shoot. Minors are allowed to use the range but must be accompanied by an adult. All ammo is allowed excluding tracers and incendiary. Our longest range is 400 yd steel targets. Please visit our website, b-tactical.com, for more information. Patrick B-tactical
- Patrick Phung (6 years ago)
Q: Do they allow 50 bmg?
A: Yes we do.
- Greg Fisher (a year ago)
Q: Can you shoot 22cal rifles there
A: Yes. You can talk to the clerk I believe Davin is his name and he might even let you shoot in the pistol lanes.
- Gustavo Torres (3 years ago)
Q: Are There Guns available for Rent?
A: Absolutely. There are probably around 15 handguns and 4 rifles available for rent. Pistols are $15 per gun plus their ammo, and rifles are $20 per gun plus their ammo.
- Blake Hill (5 years ago)
Q: Can you shoot skeet here?
A: They don't have a skeet range. They do have some portable clay throwers to rent and a large field to shoot in.
- Bob Thorman (5 years ago)
Q: Can i shoot 6br?
A: That's just a 6mm Browning right? I don't think they'd have any issues with that. I shoot my .308 out there all the time.

Nice location, great people, and a very nice range. Needed a place to sight in at 100 yards and that hopefully hadna few targets a bit farther. They have 300 and 400 yard steal. Was able to make it up on a Friday, no wait time to get on the range, had an attentive and quick RM, and made a few friends. Was able to test some rounds out and collect the data i needed. I am looking forward to my next visit.

B-Tactical is hands down one of the best ranges IΓÇÖve ever been to! The facilities are top-notch, clean, and well-maintained, making it the perfect spot for both beginners and experienced shooters. TheyΓÇÖve truly thought of everything to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. What really makes this place shine, though, is the people. The staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to help. Whether you need advice on gear, tips on improving your aim, or just a warm welcome, theyΓÇÖve got you covered. The atmosphere here is unmatchedΓÇöitΓÇÖs professional yet relaxed, making it a place youΓÇÖll want to return to again and again. B-Tactical is more than just a range; itΓÇÖs a community. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to shoot and connect with awesome folks. Five stars all the way!

First time here, and had a good experience. RSO and the other range occupants were all easy going. I had no issues but I have a general understanding of how to safely operate on a range. The desk employee inside didn't offer me to much instruction after I had told him it was my first time here. You get assigned a lane, grab 1 free target, and you're on your way. Eyes and ears are offered. Ask to see a range map if youre unclear on where to go from there. Once finished firing is when you go back in and pay. Range goes cold probably every 20/30ish minutes and stays cold until everyone is finished furnishing their targets (5-10 mins). Don't bring any firearms inside. Great prices.

This post has been edited -- After re-visiting the range, all of my previous concerns have not only been addressed directly, but have been resolved. I almost didn't come back, but after giving it a second chance; Y'all have most certainly earned my loyalty back. I apologize for the previous negative post; but more than anything I appreciate the fact that y'all listened to the feedback and addressed the problems. I'll say; even with the recent rain (and noticeable puddles in a few areas) even the "muddy ranges" that used to exist are no more. Not sure what y'all did to fix it all; but keep it up. Great job, and I'm glad to see the old B-Tactical back to the range me, my friends, and my family love.

Dropped off a couple guns for the gun smith to fix. Was called back way within the time frame quoted. Was turned down by another local place but on my way home I realized B tactical was also involved in gun repairs. Dropped them off without hassle and even decided to buy something else while I was there. Previously dropped off a vector and another AR to have them sighted in before I went out of town. They were over booked and it was a holiday and the owner said it wasnΓÇÖt a big deal IΓÇÖll get them done for you. Extremely nice woman and staff. They truly do the best they can to manage that company and I have personally watched them grow it. They are priced way more reasonably than any of the other competitors in the area. In fact the customer service you get a B tactical is bar non 100x better then the local competition. If I could give ten stars I would

I've gone here before many years ago, and recently started to go again. The people that work they are friendly and respectful. My wife and I enjoy this range even with having to travel a bit to go to it as we are from the Garland area. I recommend this place not only because I enjoy this range along with the amazing people working there. It is owned and operated by veterans. Thank you for making this range a great and fun place to shoot safely. Thank you for the men and women who have and continue to serve in ALL our military branches!

Best outdoor range IΓÇÖve been to, just make sure you donΓÇÖt walk in the building with your bags or cases. TheyΓÇÖll chase you out so make sure you go with someone to watch you bag outside or leave in the car until you get settle down.

Great atmosphere. Staff is very helpful, polite and informative. On my first visit, I was given the help I needed to get started on the range almost immediately. Seems like everyone (including other customers) helps you out if you have any questions or just need help with setting up to shoot. My first time going past 100 yards and some folks helped me to get onto 300 and 400 yards within my first few shots!! Had a great time!! The long range platforms could use some TLC and more protection from the weather. But it's still a great little spot to send lead down range.

Awesome setup, some of the best prices in DFW, and very friendly/knowledgeable staff. The range masters take their job seriously but also aren't jerks. If you shoot safely and obey the rules you won't have any problems here. They also have a gunsmith, classes, cold drinks for sale, clean bathrooms, and a very well stocked pro shop. Before you give up on range shooting in DFW altogether, check out B-tactical.

Great rifle and pistol range, helpful range staff, good store. Rifle out to 400 and qualification for that distance is relatively easy if you shoot a lot.

So me and two buddies went to B-Tactical yesterday to use their rifle range. We had an amazing experience despite our shooting failures (Humble pie was eaten fresh that day). The staff at B-Tactical are top notch! They were super friendly and helpful. Our RSO Steve was great! He was a real hoot to have around and gave us great advice when it comes to shooting longer range and looking forward to seeing him again on our next attempt. He even let use use his personal bore snake for our barrels. There was another gentlemen (IΓÇÖm so sorry for not catching your name but he was also fantastic!) He came out and saw we were struggling and even remounted and re-torqued my friends scope on his PTR-91 and even helped to try and confirm zero until we realized it is something wrong with the actual barrel itself. Despite all our issues and ignorance of long range they were friendly, kind, and above all helpful. The B-Tactical staff have a servant attitude and thatΓÇÖs a major asset! We will be coming back again! Keep up the good work!

I used the rifle range at B-Tactical last week. It was the first time I'd ever gone to a gun range. My time there went OK except for one incident which I'm going to explain here. When I arrived, I was directed to read two signs on the wall of the office. The first contained an overview of the range rules. The second was the terms of the waiver I had to sign. After reading both and signing my waiver, I received some additional instructions before leaving the office. That included an explanation that there was no Range Safety Officer on duty and that the shooters would have to negotiate as to when the range was hot and when it was cold. I thought the range was hot as I was walking out to it because I could hear gunfire coming from it. Best I can tell, it went cold moments before I got there because no sooner had I unzipped my rifle bag and laid the gun on my table than a different employee came charging up to me demanding to know why I was handling my firearm on a cold range. I apologized and explained that I'd just gotten there and didn't realize the range was cold. At that point, the employee pointed to the white flag at the far end of the range and then went back to chewing me out. That flag is part of a system they use there, you see. When the white flag is out, it means the range is cold. When the red flag is out, it means the range is hot. It makes perfect sense. It seems like a great system. I'm just a little confused as to when any of this was supposed to be explained to me. It wasn't on the rules overview that I'd been directed to read. It wasn't part of my verbal instructions. And yes I am aware that I have a responsibility to know what's happening around me at the range. And if I made a mistake by not realizing a little faster that the range had gone cold, I do take responsibility for that. I still think I deserved to have this rule explained clearly and respectfully one time. I don't think I deserved to first hear about it as I'm standing on the range, getting chewed out and having it implied that I'm pissing off the other shooters and that I needed to re-read the rules overview sign (which, again, didn't even explain the white flag/red flag system I was unaware of at that point.) I work in retail myself. Some of the products my company sells are incredibly dangerous when they're misused. So I can respect a gun range employee who feels the need to say something to a customer in order to maintain safety. At times, I have to do the same thing at my job. But I have little respect for anyone who doesn't try to maintain safety without compromising the customer's experience. And I have no respect at all for someone who uses safety as an excuse for being a jerk.
