Took my son and two grandsons for a half day . Was very good ! Great guide Mr. Brown and dogs Mingo and Annie did very good!

It's always a fun time there. Friends and family getting together having a great time. I just wish the gun range was open on the weekends.

Amazing facility, first time I have had the chance to attend a big shoot. They handled more than 900 attendees with no problem. Great experience. I will be back again next year.

Fantastic staff and very well kept facility. Great for a group of the guys or family outing. Two clay courses that are changed up weekly. 5 stand, skeet, and trap areas are verynice and accessible. Love this place!

Hands down THE BEST sporting clays course in the state ! My son shot clays for Mid Carolina out of Orangeburg for 4 or 5 years and all thevkids thatvi talked to even from different clubs all said their favorite place to shoot was at Mr. Rick's Back woods. The staff their is very professional and always put on an excellent event and when it was a SCYCF event its was a homerun always it was ALWAYS a full house and I'm sure it still is Thanks for the memories Rick !! The only other place that in my opinion came close to backwoods was Palmetto in Edgefield SC

Great venue. Challenging and beautiful green course offers variety of shots. Orange course above my ability but beautiful Recommend that if you like shooting visit this place

I can't think of enough good things to say about this place and its staff. The courses change frequently, the setting is beautiful, everything works (or, if not, is quickly fixed). Why anyone would play golf when they can do sporting clays is beyond me.

We shoot here a couple times a year. Always a great experience. The staff are friendly and helpful, the courses are fun and challenging. Can't say enough good things.

Backwoods is a great hidden gem of a shooting complex. For sporting clays and 5 stand.

My first time and Dave was so incredibly helpful! We had a great time, I learned a lot, and I look forward to coming back! Ladies in the shop were friendly and the grounds are beautiful!
