I had an excellent time training here at Badlands. Informative and professional. The range was fun and my class was safe. The housing facility was more than expected. I had a comfy bed and hot meal. I would recommend this training and others to beginners and seasoned shooters. The foundational pistol course reviews basics and we were moving and shooting by the end. Real life training with expert instructors.

Took the 4 day Long Range Rifle Class last week. It was awesome! The instructors spent 12-14 hours a day with us. Saturday evening we were shooting till after sundown. I learned so much. I was able to consistently hit targets out to 600 yards with my AR .223 after the training and one of the instructors loaned me his 6.5 Creedmore and I shot it from 100 to 1000 yards, calculated all the holdovers for the yardages and was able to hit 4 of 5 shots at 1000. Learned to estimate wind and distance. I felt like it was a great bargain. They provided rooms with bedding, showers and a kitchen you could prepare your own food in. Not the Hilton but clean and adequate. I highly recommend this training.

I just completed the June precision course. Mr Whittington and his accompanying instructors are experts, they are approachable and encourage engagement from questions about the course to your gear and how to be better at all segments of it. Having accommodations with access to a lobby for dining in and access to the commercial kitchen at no extra course cost is a huge plus, overall meaning this course of expert instruction into precision rifle (cleet certified instruction) affordable for most folks. Simply pay a deposit and final payment at course time and you are good to go. This course is the real deal. You will shoot known distance from getting your zero, to qualification from 100 to 1000 yards, then you test your learning by shooting an unknown distance course of fire with your spotter factoring and calling your dope. Even if you take this particular course more than once you will learn something new every time and he has follow on course to learned advanced technique. Overall top shelf. I have been to NRA Whittington in Raton, NM and this is equal to it at half the cost and have no extra expenses to add by lodging and meals. Thank you Badlands Tactical and Whittington family for your hospitality and professionalism. DonΓÇÖt let the $$ fool you. You can and will walk away with the experience of learning how to and achieving qualification of shooting out to 1000 yards with a centerfire rifle.

I have attended 4 classes at Badlands, one in 2019, two in 2021, and one more in 2023. It is about a 19 hour drive (one way) for me. It is well worth the drive. I try to attend whenever my schedule permits. So far I have done their basic long range precision rifle, advanced sniper 1, and urban sniper (twice). Badlands is an amazing academy with world class instructors who have literally "been there" and "done that" and will work with you to see you progress and acquire the skills you need. It is actually the lowest priced tactical/sniper academy in the USA, which is surprising considering they offer lodging with kitchen and shower facilities and the instruction is top level quality. The instructors are all former military snipers and most went on to have long careers as police snipers as well. The level of talent and experience is great and it is a privilege to get to train with such men. $875 for a 5 day Urban Sniper course is an absolute bargain. It is like getting fresh wild caught Alaskan salmon for $12 per pound or a 16 ounce grass fed prime rib for $20. You're saving money but not at the expense of quality. If you're able to go to Badlands to train, and you choose not to go to Badlands, I feel sorry for you for that decision and you'll probably regret it. If you are able to go to Badlands you should absolutely go, it is definitely worth making the trip.

Any class you take at Badlands will be a fantastic experience! The facility is set up to make sure your stay is comfortable. The instructor's are VERY knowledgeable bring you the best firearms training you will receive anywhere. I just took the long range precision class last weekend, I qualified at 600 yards! I definitely will be back and plan on training with these guys yearly. All I can say is money well spent.

These guys know their stuff. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable and patient with you. You stay on site. Even after the class is over for the day the instructors stay around well into the night and are accessible for any questions you might have. Badlands is the only way to go.

This facility provides civilians and law enforcement the complete package for basic thru advanced shooting, field skills, medical trauma treatment and weapon maintenance. Always worth every dime.

Badlands is an excellent academy which any shooter who is serious about his training would do well to attend. I drove 19 hours each way to attend the precision rifle course offered by Badlands and my only regret was that my schedule did not permit me to stay to attend the follow up second level course taught after the basic course. The instructors are great people who care about their students on a professional and personal level. Time spent training at Badlands is time well spent.

Great pistol class this past weekend. Great cadre and did not have to get a hotel as their are beds and showers at the facility.
