Too expensive . They are good about helping you on the range if needed. But geez, range fee plus 15 per gun and 15 plus extra shooter per gun. Come on guys what's up with that model. I watched a dad go in with 2 son's with 2 rifles. He needed eyes for the 3, plus 2 shooters and 2 rifles His bill was 82.00 .

Went it to buy a handgun and was helped by Mr. Bailey. All my questions were answered and had a nice inventory of stuff around the shop. Would recommend this place to anyone looking to buy or use their range.

I wouldn't recommend this range. It's expensive to shoot. Also, they only allow you to load one round and shoot one round on an AR15 type of gun which is frustrating and ruins the shooting experience.

First time at Bailey's House of Guns and I was greeted and informed about the shooting range rules. They also helped me bore sight my scope for $15 and within 16 shots I hit center with my 6.5 Creedmore. I will definitely come back..

Great range for people who have never shot, are scared of guns, or the intellectually disabled. Other than that, this range is terrible. Overpriced, rundown, and quite literally has the dumbest rules. I have to reload my gun after every shot?? Get real.

no rounds in the magazine while there is one in the chamber is ridiculous. I understand the staff is trying to be safe but this rule is absurd. If youΓÇÖre worried about unsafe shooters then perhaps implement a hip pocket firearms safety class and test prior to allowing a shooter on the line.

This is the absolute worst gun range in Texas. Very expensive, and very tyrannical. DonΓÇÖt waste your money, just go elsewhere.

Worst range I have ever been to. They charge you per gun and charge more for "military style" rifles. They have a completely absurd 1 round in the magazine at a time rule. You can only shoot from the bench rest and cannot stand. The woman at the counter had a rude demeanor and generally bad attitude. The only good thing I can say is that the kid running the pistol range was very friendly. The cost to shoot here is high and the experience is sub par, take your money elsewhere.

I went to this range for the first time a few days ago. Upon entering, I was greeted by range officer Romero (sp?) who helped show me where to go check in. Inside the pro shop, I was greeted and helped by the gentleman inside. I had 2 pistols and given 2 set of targets. Range officer and I walked towards the back to the pistol range and since it was empty, gave me some options for 10, 50 or 7 yard targets. Also, the range officer was great in explaining all the rules. No person except for the range officer goes down range to change the targets, a cease fire is called, everyone stands behind the red line with all firearms unloaded with breach/action open, etc. The range itself may be a bit run down and older but it is outdoors. The overhead canopy does amplify the noise slightly but it's still quieter and more pleasant to shoot than indoors. It was kind of relaxing in a way. Its a great range, not crowded, and with friendly people working there.

Great outdoor gun range. My only complaint is that you can only have one round in your rifle at a time, due to the proximity with the highway.

TERRIBLE RANGE At Bailey's house of gunsyou pay for each category of gun? If you have 3 people who want to shoot and one person brought a rifle, one person brought a shotgun and one person brought a pistol. It's $36 EACH. not $36 total. Normally you just pay for the gun and shoot, not the to shoot other types of fire arms. This wasn't made clear when I called. They just said,"$12 dollars for pistols, rifles and shotguns. $14 for "military style rifles"". Normally when a range says $X per gun or shooter, it means the gun is paid for and everyone can shoot it (assuming they brought a gun already). $14 dollars for military rifle? You must load ONE round into your magazine, charge your fire arm and remove the magazine before firing your fire arm. So you are charge $14 to shoot your gun in the most ridiculous way possible, taking longer than putting one round into a bolt action rifle. I understand they do this because of insurance problems, but the fact that they expect you to pay MORE to shoot your gun in a reduced capacity is outrageous. Also, "military style rifle"? ... There is a better range in magnolia, and a better range in clear creek and Texas city. Go there, it's worth the drive.

I have to give a 5 just for the good attitudes here. I also like that it's multi-generational family owned.
