Barnett's Guns and Indoor Range

Prices are more than fair and the range is extremely well kept. Do keep in mind you have to buy ammo in store (prices on their ammo is great). The staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I could stay in shop and talk to these guys and gals for hours! Cannot thank these guys enough for sticking around.

This is my go-to for all my firearm purchases. Owned and ran by some good people. They are always helpful and kind. With a wide selection, you will be sure to find what you're looking for. The indoor range is fantastic. You won't regret a visit.

very helpful in purchasing a new gun for my girlfriend as an early Christmas present. I brought her there so she could pick out a gun that suited her and the staff was super friendly and helpful. they took her to their indoor range and let her fire some similar guns and talked with her and gave her more than enough information to make a decision. she ended up getting a Girsan mc14t .380 ,being this is her first time ever owning a gun, it was a good decision because the Girsan is very simple to use, load , maintain and help her get familiar with shooting. she is happy with her decision and the help they provided. I know there have been complaints about the mc14t not being able to properly field strip it the way you can with other semi auto pistols but for a first time gun owner I think it's a good choice for her. it may be her first hand gun but I'm certain it won't be her last. thank you to everyone at Barnett's for all their help and kindness in helping my girlfriend find a gun that she feels comfortable with at a good price. we'll definitely be back when she's ready for something else!

Only store in the entire area that had an M1A scout/squad M-14 in stock. They also had a SOCOM model. Excellent selection, service and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend…they even bore sighted my rifle with a scope I didn’t buy there. I just bought the rings. Can’t wait to give the indoor range a go.

I live in Mitchell County nc I love Barnett's guns I go to Barnett's all the time the staff is the best I buy everything from Barnetts the dog is the coolest me and ma love Barnett's guns J Wyatt I wanted a hat the owner only had one hanging up and got a Ladder and gave it to me that meant a lot goes to show you that things in Tennessee is better

Visited in the middle of a Thursday afternoon, was the only person on the range. It was peaceful, staff is always very helpful. The range was clean, well stocked, and functioned as it should. Definitely will return again and again.

Very unsatisfied. Can’t speak for the range part Barnetts but my fiancé and I drove about 45 minutes to an hour to get there after we called and asked about inventory of ar pistols and they told us there was a good selection when he didn’t have any at all…disappointing.

Had what we needed. Nice and friendly service. The woman that helped us was very knowledgeable in the ammunition we were looking for. Nice selection of guns and gun accessories. Only $15 for shooting lane, $1 a target, they provide eye and ear protection if you need some, no time limit, but must purchase or bring ammo purchased from their store. Understandable since someone brought in tracers and burned the building.

Excellent. We drove one hour (from Banner Elk), worth every minute and mile. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Range is well within safety regulations. I had to take the time to edit this post, as I read a review giving a 1 and I had to provide more in my comment. Yes, you have to buy their ammo and target, you own your business, you set the rules. Ammo and target were priced correctly. Ventilation's system is good. Whenever you read a lousy review: see how many 1s and how many 5s are given, then check to see if the reviewer only gives low reviews, then value that negative review for what it truly is. Oh by the way, when you are done shooting, go enjoy lake Watauga, just 5 minutes away. Thanks

Great place to buy my first gun. The man helping me was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. When you purchase a gun here they also give you a free pass at their indoor range. Very nice staff and very nice range

Go by and see Tim Barnett. What an amazing gun store. Competitive prices, awesome friendly staff, and an incredible selection of firearms. This is the place to go for firearms in Northeast Tennessee. Highest recommendation. I love these people. I bought the radio special $135 AKAL 12 gauge. $14 ammo. Cause I am a complete beginner. They were so nice. My dad would have loved this place so much. I brought my dog, because I don't go anywhere without my dog. And lo and behold. The owner has a dog. Instant love
