Bayou Country Sporting Clays

This place is permanently closed. My buddy and I showed up at 111, but the sign on the door says it's open 1-4pm on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. So we took a tour of Houma and came back at 1:30. When we returned, Pete across the street told us it was closed.

Friendly people. This place is geared for shooting clays but they did have a spot for us to shoot handguns.

Awesome experience! We were treated like family during our time here and had the time of our lives. Very informative and helpful! Well worth the drive from New Orleans for an afternoon of shooting. HIGHLY recommend! Thank you!

Southern hospitality at its finest! The property is run by two amazing people. The skeet and trap shootin tips are perfect and they were able to help the 3 newbies in the group hit clays. You are able to drive around the property on golf carts to different shooting positions. Great place to go and shoot and have a great time! Highly recommended.

I am just starting to learn shotgun shooting. Ronnie and his facility are both super! Felt like everyone was looking to make sure I had a great time, which I did. Will be back again and most likely I have found another hobby and place to enjoy it. BTW I do need a lot of practice but that will not stop me from having a great time

I was in New Orleans with some friends and wanted to introduce them to sporting clays. This place was excellent. The owners are friendly, the course had a good mix of easy and tricky traps, they rent shotguns, good hours and reasonable prices. If you have the time, check it out. Easy to get to from New Orleans via car.

Their open Wednesday - Sunday 10am till Dark! Kirk's a great guy and very helpful, not to mention the ranges are reset often giving you a chance to shoot from easy to very hard shots. They also have a great 5-stand set up. Worth the drive!
