Christy lives up to the reviews as much as somebody can live up to a review. She was well informed on everything, she even knew that I wouldn't take a full hour to shoot my shotgun and told me to wait to buy another hour for the pistol range since your time rolls over. One thing I didn't know that I know now is YOU HAVE TO RESERVE THE SHOTGUN RANGE. We got lucky and the shotgun range was open so we were able to shoot. The range gives you a lot of freedom, especially the shotgun range, make sure you close the door though. Plan on going back in a few weeks. Overall nothing but good things to say!

Staff was very attentive. They offer several gun safety courses for new firearm owners. Offer women only, kids, and LA approved course for concealed carry permit. Facility is clean and the range is well set up.

The place was great pricing was good and the range was good to, if it’s your first time shooting the safety instructor his name was David and he was very informative on the safety on a firearm so that me and my people would have a great experience with shooting guns would go again 👌👌👌

I came here with some friends from Europe who had never shot before. Staff was very friendly and helped me fill them in on all manner of gun safety. I asked their advice on this old WWI side arm I had, they were happy to take a look and advise me on whether or not it was in shooting condition. The private range was an affordable price and was professionally set up. Also itΓÇÖs right by Jean Lafitte state park, so itΓÇÖs a nice drive past some old bayous. Good prices, nice staff. IΓÇÖll be coming back.

We had a great 1st experience shooting at Bayou Dragon. Christi (hope IΓÇÖm spelling right!) was a superb instructor, really patient and put my gf at ease on her first experience handling a gun. We had so much fun in an hour, and felt confident on learning how to shoot properly with a professional. Is a bit out of the way if youΓÇÖre visiting New Orleans, be definitely recommend to visit if youΓÇÖre looking for a high quality shooting range with great prices.

I haven't been here in like a decade, and came by again to zero the backup sights on an AR build I just finished. Boy have they really upgraded this location in those intervening years. Facility is very nice, prices are reasonable with discounts for LEO, military, and veterans, and the facility including restroom are clean. This is definitely worth the drive over from the east bank. Apparently it is either the westbank or northshore for rifles, so it looks like I've rediscovered my local range. I see the owner posted photos about Glock armorers on staff, and look forward to asking about their other services on my next visit.

Been going to bayou dragon for almost 30 years but no more. After talking to Courtney I went to sign in they had no recollection of me being a member did not have my name in there system and didnΓÇÖt know my name. Wow they donΓÇÖt even consider nurse as first responders who do they think has been running toward the Covid for the last three year or other crises like hurricanes. Thanks Courtney but IΓÇÖm done

Fantastic service & super friendly family business! As someone who did not shoot a firearm ever before, our group was adviced and supervised with perfect care and devotion. Matt explained and showed us everything with a lot of patience and helped us in every possible way to make it a wonderful and safe experience.. Needs a serious overhaul, target hangers need to be replaced, no ventilation hot or cold depending on what time of year it is," no climate control", if there's a lot of people shooting it can be hard to breathe., needs air scrubbers after an hour of shooting your chest feels heavy.

My family and I went today for dad's birthday and it was a great experience. It was all 5 of their's first time and Matt and the rest of the staff made sure we were all well-informed before the fun! The staff is great and Matt made sure to give extra attention to my little sister (10yr old). 10/10 recommend !! Great staff and great pricing!
