First time visiting Addicks Range as a new member. I had a great time with the small bore silhouette group today! They were very welcoming and took time to explain their match to me as well as show me some new tricks. Great experience!

Rules require you to show NFA paperwork to anyone on the range who asks. Why? Definitely not a legal requirement. Can't imagine why anyone besides a federal ATF officer would need to see such paperwork. Would definitely steer clear of these 2nd amendment haters.

Please stay away from this shooting club. To become member, you have to attend orientation and pay 200 dollars initial fee(they will refuse to refund). But if you are late for couple min for the orientation, the range officer wonΓÇÖt let you come in. And they never said you canΓÇÖt be couple min late in their orientation confirmation email. The stuff there are extremely rude. They act like they are the master and you are slave. Besides that, their shooting ranges are surrounded by houses. I feel not comfortable to shooting in such environment. If you look for 1000 yard shooting range, ccc shooting complex is far better than this. Ccc shooting complex has steel target for 1000 yard. But for this range, you have to attach paper target by yourself. After I understand all of these information and suffered the rudeness from their stuff, I decided to drop my application and stay away from them. Update: they are all liars. The member director sent me a threatening email, indicating me had a physical threat to range officer and banned from their properties. The range officer and me were 5 feet away and there was a huge gate between us. I also didnΓÇÖt say any threatening words. They just lied so they can refuse to refund money to me. What a shooting range. Again please stay away from this company. I can imagine that if anything happen during you shoot in their range, they will lie and push all the responsibility to you. Stay away from them and have a happy life.

Best outdoor pistol range in Houston. A lot of the negative reviews are people that simply don't realize this is a private members only range, its not open to the public.

Good gun club. More than fair membership pricing. Range Safety Officers are always keeping things safe and fair. You do have to be a member to enter. Addicks location has one down fall. It can rain for 10 minutes and the place floods out. That gets old after awhile.

Bayou Rifles is a private gun club, access is limited to members only. It is not open to the public. Been a member and shooting at this range for years. Great range, clean and well maintained, covered shooting line and benches, awesome steel targets!

As a long time member of Bayou Rifles, the ranges are member-only or guests of members. The two ranges you get access to after signing up for membership are both excellent, and the only way the people could have given one star reviews are as non-members that were refused access to the range.
