- Romano Chiari (2 years ago)
Q: Been trying to call to speek to someone but is goes to voice mail and tells you not to leave a message. Why do you have a phone??????

A: No 50BMG or any variations based off of that allowed

Awful for the community, the shots can be heard miles away while the elderly and babies are sleeping.

The perfect shooting range you can find in this area 300 yd 200 yd 25 and 50 pistol bays for defensive shooting And a shotgun range. Also, have a 1000 yd range, but you must qualify to shoot on it.

The RSOs have displayed a tendency to be discriminatory towards minorities. My friends and I were accused of rapid firing in the pistol bay by an RSO. I stated we're not and that the next bay was, but the RSO stated that I should know the rules. Thanks for actually listening to the rapid firing that was going on in the next bay. Also, only ATF agents are allowed to request NFA paperwork. Thanks for being respectful of the 2A community.

Attended one of their new member orientations last month and I'm very excited to join this gun club. Safety is the heaviest emphasis which is the number one reason i'm joining. So many times, public ranges have those who go there and ignore the very basics so being able to join a club which emphasizes and enforces safety is a big component. The orientation itself was very helpful and clear as to the policies. Some may view it as strict but firearms are life or death so having a high standard as they do is very important. Everyone seemed friendly too and more than willing to answer any questions asked. Though i've yet to be able to use the facility, it looks very clean and well organized. I feel very fortunate to be able to become a member and hope to be for a long time.

Rules require you to show NFA paperwork to anyone on the range who asks. Why? Definitely not a legal requirement. Can't imagine why anyone besides a federal ATF officer would need to see such paperwork. Definitely don't support firearm related businesses who don't support the 2nd amendment.

Just attended the new member orientation today and IΓÇÖm very excited to become part of this organization. The main and most important focus is of course gun safety. The board members and RSO who conducted the orientation were friendly, courteous, funny, and welcoming. They spent extra time answering all of our questions. Seeing the negative post from one week ago was a complete opposite of my experience today and anyone who actually has any understanding of how Bayou Rifles is ran would respect that these people volunteer their time to be there for us. The previous negative post tells me that Bayou did a great job of weeding this potential new member out. If you read his post you can see there are many flaws and the complaining tells me he is not a respectful person who is triggered easily which would make me feel uncomfortable shooting next too. The facility is very clean and it is up to all members to police the precise. If you are a honorable and respectful person, this is the place for you. Most people are not aware, not some of the top shooters in the world use this range. That should tell you everything you need to know! So excited to learn from these guys and gain invaluable knowledge from them.

Please stay away from this shooting club. To become member, you have to attend orientation and pay 200 dollars initial fee(they will refuse to refund). But if you are late for couple min for the orientation, the range officer wonΓÇÖt let you come in. And they never said you canΓÇÖt be couple min late in their orientation confirmation email. The stuff there are extremely rude. They act like they are the master and you are slave. Besides that, their shooting ranges are surrounded by houses. I feel not comfortable to shooting in such environment. If you look for 1000 yard shooting range, ccc shooting complex is far better than this. Ccc shooting complex has steel target for 1000 yard. But for this range, you have to attach paper target by yourself. After I understand all of these information and suffered the rudeness from their stuff, I decided to drop my application and stay away from them. Update: they are all liars. The member director sent me a threatening email, indicating me had a physical threat to range officer and banned from their properties. The range officer and me were 5 feet away and there was a huge gate between us. I also didnΓÇÖt say any threatening words. They just lied so they can refuse to refund money to me. What a shooting range. Again please stay away from this company. I can imagine that if anything happen during you shoot in their range, they will lie and push all the responsibility to you. Stay away from them and have a happy life.

You have to wait to be on a waiting list just to WAIT to be added and pay for membership to shoot at this range?!? Ridiculous!

At what point did we think as a club it's acceptable to close the 100 yard range off for months on end and take no action to make anything 100 yards available to zero or do any everyday shooting.
