Q: Can we shoot revolvers?
A: You can shoot revolvers, only restriction is the type of ammo you can shoot, which is posted on site, I believe it only prevents incendiary and tracer ammo.

Q: What is your longest range?
A: Longest distance you can shoot at this Range is 100yards.
- Patrick Tibai (4 years ago)

A: I don't think they have attendants. The forestry typically rides by to make sure everything is in order and clean. Be sure to pick up any mess you bring. They have boxes to put your spent casings in if you don't take them with you. They sometimes have volunteers come and put the trash from the barrels in the dumpsters.
- Chris Hegler (10 months ago)
A: No they have a box to put your payment in.
- David Still (10 months ago)
Q: What do y'all charge
A: 5 dollars. They use the honor system of payment via forestry payment box/envelopes.
- Lawrence Mayo (a year ago)

Clean and well kept range. It seemed to be manned and is maintained by a small group of friendly volunteers which I met one of them an elderly man Rudy. He was welcoming and friendly. It appears like it's visited daily but it's never been over crowded on days I've visited anyway. I like that it's isolated but not far from town. The only bad thing I saw was there's black widow spiders esp at the last stall under the benches, but I see them at almost all ranges I've been to nobody's bin bitten but still ... This is prob my second favorite range in the region. I'm adding this months after I posted the review above, lately it's not been as clean as it used to be. Lots of shot up plastic and trash left by visitors, wish ppl would clean up behind themselves a lil more, But still a good spot to shoot!

The range is nice. The brass goblins are prevalent and very annoying, however. Leave the shooters alone.

You can shoot just about ANYTHING out there! Has shooting benches, covered, wide open range and a good height on the berm. The only downside is that there nothing out there to hang any targets on so you have to bring your own, if youΓÇÖre lucky someone will leave a 55 drum out there that you can use.

This range is amazing. I went on a random Friday with some friends and we had a blast. It a rifle range so you may need to bring your own targets but there is plenty of range space for zeroing and fun shoots. Due to the honor system, there is virtually little to no charge and thanks to volunteers the range is clean everyone I go. (Also make sure to clean up your own brass please) 5/5 starts

The shelter is great this time of year. Too much "trash" left on the range. Don't know how to solve this issue.

More than worth the $5 daily charge for use! Will likely consider getting the annual pass. Excellent range in a beautiful location. The staff that I encountered was friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be back for more range time here and to enjoy the rest of the National Forest property. Thank you!

This is a nice little shooting range offering up to 100 yards. They have a covered area with tables and side mounted benches. You have to provide your own targets that don't create a ton of debris (e.g. clay pigeons, pumpkins, etc.). I just bought on Amazon a couple of target stands that I take out their. The only thing they ask is that you pick up your brass and trash and if you see anything pick it up as well. Its only $5 per a person and a great place to shoot pistols and rifles.

Great locations, great infrastructure. Solid shoot benches, covered paved area to shoot from. Sidewalk out to the targets. Read the rules, pay the $5, and clean up after yourself. It will make yours and others experience better if everyone follows the rules.

What you expect. This is not a manned range. There is no safety nancy or paperwork gestapo or card checker or information taker. This is a ΓÇ£freedom spoken hereΓÇÖ gun range. Bring your own paper targets, duct tape and some kind of stand, maybe like a box or 1x2 with a spike end in it, a hammer for the hard ground too. Think ΓÇÿbring everything you need to shootΓÇÖ since its just an overhang, benches and a birm. That said, my son and i had a helluva time shooting there. I think we were there for 2 or 3 hours plapping away no issues whatsoever. Loved it. Threw some funds in the money tube we liked it so much. Will be back.

Good public shooting range up to 100+ yards to the back berm. Plenty of covered, sturdy shooting tables on concrete. A little wet and muddy from the recent rain but overall great spot and a nice scenic drive as well.

Love this place! Covered stations to stay out of the sun. As long as everyone picks up afterwards and respects the area, it will continue to be an awesome place!
