Q: are there golf carts for rent
A: We have push carts that are available for rent for $5 for the day, but we do not have golf carts for rent.

Q: Do I need to have shooting experiences or license for taking the class?
A: I'm not sure I understand what class you are talking about, we currently don't have any classes scheduled at the Clay Target Center. You don't need any experience or licenses to come out and shoot at the CTC, you don't even need a shotgun. We have everything needed to get started for rent or purchase and our staff loves helping new shooters.

A: If you're talking about CCW permit, the answer is, yes, every so often an outside party will hold these classes at Ben Avery. Best bet, go on Groupon and checkout what is available for any future classes being held at Ben Avery. If you're referring to clay target shooting classes, this is also held at Ben Avery by private individual licenced trainers. You can go online to possibly check this out or stop in at Ben Avery. You most likely will see some business cards there for trainers/coaches or just ask other shooters that may know of some.

Q: Are walk ups allowed or do you have to have a reservation?
A: Walk-ups are allowed. Reservations are available for skeet and trap if you would prefer but they are not required. Reservations are not available on sporting clays.

A: We are currently open Wednesday through Sunday 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. Right now we are busier in the mornings and hotter in the afternoons.

This is the best outdoor bow range IΓÇÖve been to. They have a hunter range that has 28 walk around targets with lots of different yardages. The best one is the Upper (14 targets) and Lower (14 targets) Hill Ranges with animal targets. Lots of fun with challenges.

Man what an amazing experience IΓÇÖm a total newb to sporting clays, and this place makes you feel welcome. The locals are also super kind and offer advise/ invite you to shoot with them. Also canΓÇÖt beat the price. They also have several other forms of clay shooting as welll( trap&skeet) but did not shoot those in the three days I was there. Just another great reason to visit Arizona

Went to Ben Avery Clay Taget Center for the first time shooting. Had a great instructor, Joaquim! Was pretty fun for the first time and I even got some Clays destroyed with his know how.

Amazing target shooting tucked into the desert landscape. So many different shooting locations for clays taking side angles, directly towards you and even those rolling on the the ground. What an amazing shooting facility!

Beside the beauty of the desert and the fun of testing one's skill this place is awesome. Everyone is so friendly and laid back from the staff to the other Ben Avery enjoyers. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing day of shooting.
