Questions & Answers

Q: do you know where I can find a place for 500, 750, 1000 and 1760 meters ?

A: There is a nice shooting Range inside the Hidden Falls Adventure Park in Marble Falls, TX. If I remember correctly they 500 and 600 perhaps 700. I do not know about longer distances. A shooting club came to shoot those distances about once a month. You might try there.

A: There is a range down bear Pleasanton. Cannot remember the name at the moment. It is a members range, but the annual membership is reasonable considering what they offer. Several sanctioned matches every year.

I've used the pistol range and the 25, 50, and 100 yard rifle range and it's all good -- great facility, well equipped, and super helpful and friendly staff!

Excellent shooting range, very good location and easy access, it was recommended to me for its good service and cordial treatment, without absurd procedures, it is cheap, they do not charge per time but per person, they have a very good assortment of ammunition and equipment. Several scenarios with different targets and distances to choose from. I highly recommend it, during the week there are few people and it is more comfortable!

Always a great time , I go on weekdays and it's not crowded. They don't charge by the hour so you don't feel rushed to sight in a rifle or to do some pistol drills .

Had a great time, pretty chill range. Bought whatever ammo they handed me and had no issues shooting my new handgun. Coming back for the rifle and shotgun range!

Friendly , informative people running the store. I like this place a lot. I don't think we could take our own targets. I would really love to shoot milk jugs filled with water😂. Bexar county community shooting range provides paper targets and you can buy extras. Ammo can also be purchased in store. The only reason for four stars is because I really wish there were concrete dividers between every shooting space.💯

This is my favorite range in Central Texas. I prefer personal ownership of safety. I call my cease fires etc. and so does everyone else. If someone slips up, just help them out and teach them briefly, the true American way.

Have always been satisfied with this range.Only thing is now with this heat, the tin shelters are like baking inside an oven. You can feel the heat radiating through the tin.

This range is family owned! They keep everything well maintained and working at all times. Rifle and Pistol ranges have plenty of space on the line and most shooters here are great folks and look out for each other. The family have been life long supporters of Texas 4-H Shooting Sports, having sponsored the program since 1975. The 4-H Shooting Sports club is the 2nd oldest in the state.

I have been there a few times and really really enjoy the range, especially since its outside. Staff is always friendly and the other shooterΓÇÖs are super friendly and respectful. Ive Never had an issue until today. The bald gentleman that works there was very very disrespectful and seemed very agitated. we (a group of 5) explained we were there to use the pistole range, the only range I've always used in the past, But when the young lady behind the counter gave us targets that were different from the green torso targets they have always given us in the past, we were a little confused. Politely and out of curiosity we just asked why we werenΓÇÖt getting the green torso targets we usually get, the lady told us ΓÇ£these are what we always useΓÇ¥. The bald gentleman also said from behind us ΓÇ£ this is what we always use, you just didnΓÇÖt get caught for using the other onesΓÇ¥ in a very loud and agitated tone. After he said that we said ΓÇ£ okay IΓÇÖm just you telling thats Whats weΓÇÖve always been given in the pastΓÇ¥. The bald gentleman then accosted us and said ΓÇ£ i don't care this is how we are doing it from now onΓÇ¥. #1 this gentleman has given me those green torso targets himself in the past, #2 he said he said ΓÇ£we didn't get caughtΓÇ¥ as if we took them before without them knowing. We had already paid so we used the range anyway, but i nor will any of the people i was with will return to that range.
