This place is an excellent resource for a variety of guns, hunting and fishing gear at fair prices, expert instruction, from ccw to safety and tactics, thereΓÇÖs even a range where you can shoot handguns and itΓÇÖs all conveniently located within the downtown Fort Lauderdale area. The place is operated by the owners who are, knowledgeable, professional, friendly and will do right by you and your family to help you get the gear and instruction you need. I highly recommend this place.

Not a good place to go shoot! Old, dirty, dusty, outdated facility. Inadequate ventilation in the range. The guy behind the counter is a rude and obnoxious false know it all full of cliche gun myths like ".45 is the only caliber that will knock a bad guy off his feet" or "chamber flags will ruin the springs on your gun". Felt like 1985 in there. Only range in south florida that will ONLY allow brass case ammunition, owner says it's because he gets a good price for spent cases.. maybe once upon a time this place was really something but for today's gun enthusiast it will be very clear to you the second you walk in that this is just not as good as any of the many other options available to us today.

Roy and Stephanie are the best. I use them for all my transfers except my class 3 stuff. The range can handle 9m and 45. I go to practice with edcΓÇÖs

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Bill BoydΓÇÖs, and I must say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. As a firearms enthusiast, I have seen numerous gun shops in the past, and I believe most will agree that there are some shops out there that can try to intimidate you with their sarcastic comments till they realize that they are not talking to a rookie. At BillΓÇÖs shop, thatΓÇÖs not the case; they genuinely give exceptional service, not to mention the knowledge they share. The shop has an extensive selection of firearms, and they seem to stock up well. So whether you're a novice or an experienced, you'll find an array of high-quality options to choose from. In conclusion, they have a shooting range on site and offer firearm training, assistance with paperwork and licensing processes, and more. I highly recommend Bill Boyd.

Bill the owner and his team are very knowledgeable gunsmiths and are incredibly well-trained! The gun range is very functional and they have ammo and other accessories.

Went in with my 11 year old to purchase a gun and Stephanie couldnΓÇÖt have been anymore helpful, patient and kind. She took her time to explain two diff guns I was looking at and time to teach my son as we both are beginners in every sense of the word. 10 stars! Ask for her. There was an older gentleman in there who seemed very knowledgeable but rough around the edges letΓÇÖs just say haha. Highly recommend!!! Stephanie thank you so much.

I've bought probably 3 or 4 guns from this place last time I was in there and last gun that I bought I was bored during the background check so I asked them to go into the range to play around with my new $800 handgun and they said sure but the guy with the dog wanted to show me "how to use a gun".lol I humored him i said sure, so this guy gets the plastic gun and has me just pulling this fake trigger for 10 minutes while rambling on about God knows what and then tries to charge me $40 for that🤣 mind you I'm 35 years old and have been using shooting and hunting with guns since I was seven or eight. This place is a scam and a joke I'll never go back or tell any of my people about this place again

Roy at Bill BoydΓÇÖs was very helpful with the Florida concealed carry firearms training. He is very knowledgeable with no shortage of experience and real life stories. He went above and beyond to educate us on state and national firearm laws. We will be back soon for purchases, the shop employees know their firearms well!

Last time I was there they would let you fire full auto, there was no range supervision. Would not go there if you've never handled a firearm before.

Stephanie is Amazing! I called Bass Pro 5x to buy a Glock and couldn't get anyone to answer the phone. Called Boyd's and Stephanie answered right away, answered all my question and had it in stock @ a better price than BPS! Easy purchase & background process, Couldn't be happier! Great Place, Great Family! Thank you!

Because of their top-notch service, and friendly attitude, I always use Bill BoydΓÇÿs for my FFL transfers, and for taking my son to shoot his .22 AR, as well as our pistols. Really great folks here.
