Binghamton Gun Club

Q: what days can I shoot sporting clays?I'm not a member. Are Tues.,Weds., and Sundays open for me and a friend? if so hours?
A: Sporting Clays is open Spring through Fall. Current days and hours are posted on our website and Facebook page. Search for Binghamton Gun Club. Membership is not required to shoot here, but a membership will save you money on every round of skeet, trap, 5-stand or Sporting Clays that you shoot. Inquire within the club house for more details.

Q: Hi IΓÇÖm cooper I just had a few questions how old do you need to be to skeet shoot and what is the price per person
A: I'm not aware of any NY State age restrictions for handling long guns. So long as you can handle and fire your shotgun in safe manner and have an adult present with you, you can shoot skeet. Current prices per round are $5 for non-members and $4 for members. If you are 18 and under, you will pay the junior price of $2.50 per round.

Q: Do you have to bring your own weapon or do they rent or loan you one
A: We do have a couple of shotguns available, but they are for member use only. We do not rent or loan these guns out though. If you do not own a shotgun, inquire within the club house for more details about becoming a member.

Q: Can I use a shotgun at this range?
A: The Binghamton Gun Club is shotgun only offering clay targets in Skeet, Trap, 5-stand, Sporting Clays and International (Bunker) Trap. We do not have any ranges for rifle or handgun firing.

I happened to be in the area August 2019 so I stopped by with my wife. Friendly folk. Very quiet range surrounded by rolling hills and mountains. Beautiful location. Range is very clean, lots of parking. Prices are some of the best I've seen in the north east. We shot Sporting Clays. The course is set in and around the side and top of a hill, so all of the presentations are different and unique. Such as fast away trap shots downward facing, 35yd crossers at downhill angles, teals etc. The target setter makes good use of the natural foliage and available light. They don't try and beat you with speed, they try to beat you with visibility, angle and distance. Great time. No mechanical station issues. Nice pair of chandelles in station 14. Highly recommend. We'll be back.

Very fine place to go. This places has some challenging stations for sporting clays. The staff here is always nice and professional. You don't have to be a member use the facilities. You will need at least 100+ shells to do the full course. I come here alot with my uncle's and brother. Good place for family bonding.

Great place for skeet, trap, and sporting clays. Guys are very friendly and I've seen them help several less experienced shooters get started and interested in the sport.
