Great range for shotgun sports

Went here with some friends yesterday to shoot clays. The price per clay used is not too shabby given the amount of fun we had each shooting spot is different in the way the traps are setup so it makes for a good time with different challenges I definitely recommend spending your time here.

Great place for some group therapy. They have shotgun, rifle, and pistol outdoor ranges. Very affordable prices. We always enjoy our time there. The staff is always safe and friendly.

It is great to be able to shoot to 200 yds. RSO(James) was very friendly and helpful yet maintained strict control. A great experience!

I came out to shoot skeet with my SonΓÇÖs 1st - The first Skeet field we went to was out if commission and they came out and nice gentleman tried his best to get the second one to going for us . The second fields controller was very sketchy and was not working very well . ItΓÇÖs was fun for to come out but a pain to deal with their broken down equipment!! We came into pay at the end she the gentleman said everyone new they had problems with their equipment!! ThatΓÇÖs poor service not informing us that their machines we not up to standard!ΓÇÖ

Blackwood continues to provide a reliable and professionally run/managed range. Today's line was very busy, so lots of moving parts and big bangs... I wouldn't have felt comfortable most places just because of that, but here we were able to focus on what we had come to do.

As I am retired from Las Vegas police department just moved to houston and First time here at the blackwood outdoor range with few of my friends and staff was very friendly & kind as well as good knowledge. Also range master James was very helpful about range policys and rules. I will come back .......

Simply amazing. I started taking skeet lessons here. Gator Adams took me from newbie to hitting clays within an hour. The ranges are spacious and tucked away in tons of covers in the woods, so you can shoot a variety of styles. I can't wait to come back!!!!

Really had a great time here shooting clays. The property is really unique and has fun challenging targets. Gator (our guide) was the absolute best and had 10 novice shooters nailing targets consistently by the end of his lesson. Great for large groups like bachelor parties as well.

Place has gone to poop. I used to enjoy going in and shooting, frankly the staff is whatΓÇÖs driving me away here. Called to verify if they carried a certain round and was hung up on instead of answered. I immediately called back was going to ask for someone other than John if he picked up but when he did pick up for the second time I asked my question again and was replied with ΓÇ£go to academyΓÇ¥ and hung up on again. I donΓÇÖt care who you are, even if you owned the soil it sits on thatΓÇÖs not customer service. I donΓÇÖt recommend this place for anyone for any shooting needs.
