Boca Reservoir shooting area
Q: The range is currently posted as ΓÇ£closedΓÇ¥ IΓÇÖm assuming itΓÇÖs related to fire danger. Any idea when that restriction will be lifted?

Q: Is the shooting range free or do have to pay a fee
A: Free, unsupervised shooting area. Bring your own targets, target stands and pick up after yourself before leaving. No facilities available, you can go to a campground on the lake for a bathroom or water.

Q: Will they provide the guns for us to shoot
A: NO! it's unsupervised. Think of it like a live fire drill in the army. Obviously you hope that everybody who might be there knows basic gun safety, but it's at your own risk. Of course, if you are friendly, somebody else might show you how to shoot and let you try their gun(s).

Q: What type of shooting. Do they have wing shooting. Trap or skeet and 5stand. Do you use steel shot only? Thank you.
A: You will need to bring your own launcher. Nothing is setup. Unincorporated area designated for shooting.

I'm traveling and was looking for a place to try out my new Ruger 10-22. A short range but high back wall. Make sure to communicate with others before going down range to place targets, etc. Make sure everyone hears you.
