Daniel is amazing! Had to go in to finalize some paperwork and was not able to make it until 20 minutes till closing. He even stayed late to show us some things we were interested in and was not making anything feel rushed. He was so knowledgeable and helpful.

Great clean facility and reasonable prices. Half off Mondays are a particularly good deal. You can also pickup anything you order from the BTO website here which is nice. I believe transfers were 30 but I could be mistaken. Only subtracted the one star because they used to have plate trees and took em out

Great place for practicing, I also took my LTC class there, and always have all online purchases transferred to BTO. I was on delay for my last purchase and Cissy kept me well informed and went above and beyond to keep me up to date with all and any changes! Thanks BTO

Used to be a good range, but not anymore. It seems like they have new management that just doesn't care. Half the time I go there, they tell me pistol range is closed. It's a hassle to drive all that way and load all your gear up just to have to turn around and go home. They don't put anything on their website saying it's closed and they don't send out updates even though i'm on the mail list. It wouldn't be much trouble since there are already sending me a lot of useless information. I will probably cancel my membership and then come back in a month or so and see if they've gotten better.

I had been happy with BTO prior to today. My daughter went there for her hunters education and we have been to the range to shoot. My daughter was invited to go on a hunt with short notice. Tonight was the only night this week we could take her gun to the range. The rifle is sighted in but, we wanted to be responsible and put a few rounds through it before she went on the hunt. I picked her up from school and we drove to BTO. Without traffic, it's over an hour drive. On the way we encountered agricultural traffic on FM105 and we were stuck at a motorcycle accident less than 1 mile from BTO for over 30 minutes. Instead of arriving at 5:30, we arrived at 6:18. We contemplated turning around but, checked the website to be sure that they were open to 7. The website lists the hours as M-Sat 10-7. We were greeted as we walked through the door with "Sorry guys, the range closed at 6." Nowhere on the website does it say the range closes early or to call ahead to be sure the range is available. Last time we were there, we were shooting well past 6PM. I wasted so much time going there and back. I even told the guy that we drove in from College Station. This is failing customer service at the most basic level. Not communicating the hours that your services are available is not acceptable. If BTO advertises that they are open (without listing the range hours as different) then you need to be open. Beware before you go! The range closes one hour before the store closes but, it's not listed in their hours. The guy behind the counter doesn't seem bothered by that. HOURS OF OPERATION Mon - Sat: 10am - 7pm Sun: 11am - 6pm

Every time I go here the customer service is outstanding. Any work I need on a gun is done fast and perfectly. I recommend BTO to anyone I can. These guys will take care of you without a doubt.

Nice range but no RO. People carrying loaded pistols around the range. Loading at the back table and walking up to the firing line and then back to load again. Flagging us in the process.

Had a private training session with Felicia around pistol handling, safety and technique. She was super informative and really friendly. Would highly recommend for those looking to get some 1 on 1 training. Store also has a massive selection of firearms and accessories!

12/10 experience. Everyone here is super knowledgeable and very helpful. Range is clean and the staff is friendly. Prices are low for renting range lanes as well as firearms. Come down and see Beto, heΓÇÖs a fantastic employee and helped me immensely. Definitely coming back

I have been a customer here under three different ownership and different names of the business. The current iteration of BTO range is by far the best I could never say anything very bad in the past however they have gotten even better in the present. The selection is outstanding and it's a very good environment to be in while shopping. The staff however is absolutely outstanding. They are very outgoing and they can speak to you no matter what your level of firearms proficiency is. I don't feel there is any gun snobbery as they cater to expert Shooters as well as folks who have never shot before. Their instructors par excellence and I would recommend any level of shooter take the classes they have here. I am not a big spender I wish I could be because they have a lot of things in there that I desire. But despite the fact that I can't afford much and most of my money with them goes towards range time they still treat me very very well and they make a lot of effort to get to know their regular customers. It's nice going someplace with a recognize you by face and name. I am updating this from my original review to add that over the past few years I have found myself in a better situation financially and have made multiple purchases of accessories, ammo, firearms and NFA items now. They have a very efficient and very helpful process to process those sales, and they have fair prices for a local gun store. Right now, I am waiting on a Form 4 and they have answered every question promptly. Also my most recent handgun purchase has needed some tweaking to function perfectly, and they were able to take care of that in house before sending it out for warranty. They are a business that I feel good about spending my hard earned money in!

No ac or air flow on the indoor rifle range just cooked sitting in there I did not shoot but had to pay since I was there watching hoping a pistol spot would open up bad customer service I seen the response on the other complaint but not on mine showing the nasty return air filter that probably is part of the problem of the air flow

Paid $20 for 30 mins to be cooked alive in their so called climate controlled rifle range. When we brought it up to the employee he told us that it was just the rifle range. I had been here before when it was under different ownership and had no issues overheating in either the rifle or pistol range. Used to be a great place to shoot.

You cant use same lane for handguns and rifles, even to buy simple staff you HAVE to share your data. Definitely no second vist

Today was our first time out at the range, staff and facility were awesome! Beto helped us out at the front desk getting us checked in and going through all the different rentals with us he was very knowledgeable and helpful! Overall loved the experience and canΓÇÖt wait to go back!

Great folks, great range. The range is clean and cool, with plenty of lanes to shoot in. The gentlemen at the counter were friendly, informative, and accommodating. I highly recommend this range to anyone looking to hone in on their skills or go to just enjoy themselves.

My wife and I recently became members here mostly because of the 100 yd indoor lanes. We have a membership and great experiences with another local range that only has 25yd lanes. I was pleasantly surprised at how much inventory this place had, how many employees were on hand to help and how friendly and helpful everyone was. The woman who helped us at the range counter was very helpful and friendly. She remembered us each time we have been back. I saw an older gentleman renting a lane as we were checking out a few days ago. The guy brought in photos of his dog to show the girl behind the counter. ThatΓÇÖs the kind of people we want to do business with. We will definitely be coming more often and exploring their gunsmthing services and sales.

GREAT SERVICE AND GROUP OF PEOPLE FRIENDLY AND KNOWLEDGABLE!!!!!! I went into get some help with the ar15 bolt i bent a pin that holds the firing pin in and they helped me out free of no charge they can answer all your questions you may have. IΓÇÖve also bought some firearms from them and also shoot at there range great place to go for all your firearm or shooting needs if they donΓÇÖt have it they can order it. Highly recommend using this place

Worst customer service I've ever had. I don't think I've ever interacted with someone in a professional setting that was this rude to me. Dropped 1300$ on a suppressor and muzzle device, the gentlemen that helped me make the purchase told me I could bring it back to have the muzzle device put on and rock sett when the suppressor came in. Went to pick up the suppressor and took my gun to have the QD flash hider mounted on the rifle like they had suggested. Told me it wouldn't get done that day but it should be ready by morning the next day. Wasn't happy about that since it takes literally 2 minutes to put on a flash hider and I had just spent over 1300$, but whatever. Came back the next day around 5:30 PM to pick up the gun, "we didn't call you to pick it up". "Ok, well you said it should be ready by this morning so I figured it would have been done by now". "That's not how it works bro, you're trying to cut in line". "That's fine just give me the gun and I'll do it myself". "Well you better put some rock sett on that or you're going to be bringing it back to us to fix it". First of all I'd never go back to this location for ANYTHING especially some gunsmithing. I then asked the "gentlemen" to explain to me how I was going to unthread my muzzle device with my suppressor when the suppressor is left hand threaded and the muzzle device is right hand threaded. He then responded with "Ok, whatever man, you do you". I then tried to explain that it was a legitimate question and I wanted an answer as to how it could happen. He then literally told me to leave because he had stuff to do. I believe the guys name was either Matt or Chad. Red haired fellow with a goatee. You can ask the very nice and helpful young woman behind the counter who I believe was named Lauren as she was witness to it all. Pretty sure he had his ego bruised because he didn't know as much as he thought he did. He was also being extremely rude to Lauren while she was trying to find my gun in the back. I regret giving this place my business and will make sure nobody I know ever goes through this same experience. EDIT: The date and time this occurred 4/18/24 - 5:25 PM.

Great experience having been the first encounter. Phone conversation prior and then the interaction with Chad warrants commendation. Gun shops are great for the avid sportsman, but most have a generally downward expression when they suspect you're there to look instead of purchase. That wasn't the case here. Ended up purchasing the scope I was interested in, but the experience was great. Will be returning.

Very helpful folks! The gun I wanted in the configuration I was looking for wasn't in stock when I visited; however, Jacob called when one arrived later that day so that I could come take a look and purchase if I still wanted it. Great customer service 👍🏾 👍🏾!

OMG! I just had my first firing range session and I am HOOKED! Jake was a great instructor. He took his time and explained everything. I must admit I was pretty nervous to handle the firearm initially but I got more comfortable as I went along. I even hit the target in the center several times! 😂 Can't wait to go back.
