Q: Pissed off again. Went to Buds today for the third time. 1st time to buy ruger lc9s that l seen online. Got there and price was 40.00 more. Wanted gun so went ahead an got it an took it with grain of salt.
A: So do what I do and order online from the KY store. Then choose the FFL as Buds in Sevierville. You get free two day air shipping and best of all NO SALES TAX.

A: I have bought five firearms at Bud's after moving to the area nearly four years ago. Two of these were priced as by the website, three of these firearms were at an average, ten dollars less than advertised. I am sorry that you have had a bad experience at Bud's

Q: How can they charge $150 for a 30 minute machine gun rental with limited selection when everywhere else ive been to charges $20 for unlimited time and 3 times the selection? How can they justify that? 🤣🤣
A: Gun rental, range time, with 60 rounds of ammo, target and t-shirt. Range time is like $20 per half hour, $20 per box of ammo x 3 boxes, rental fee of full auto gun $20, t-shirt $20...it adds up. Of you have your own full auto, bring it with your own ammo and targets and just pay the range fee. Lots of ways that are cheaper, but not everyone can afford a tax stamp and full auto and just want to try it. For a vacation, why not try something new.

A: They charge $150 because people pay it. Think about it, if they went months without anyone doing this, the price would drop until they saw this part of their business pick up. Remember, anything is worth the price if someone is willing to pay.

A: I was NOT impressed with their store. We didn't rent anything. Heck, unless you can afford to drop $2500 for a high-end gun, its not a shop for regular folk. They dont even sell Black Powder Firearms

Nice store, clean and spacious. Good selection of firearms. The range is nice. The staff not so attentive. Waited patiently at the counter for 10 minutes for someone to free up. When one of the guys finished he walked right past me to someone who just walked up. I was polite and walked out. My money is just as green somewhere else.

I have used buds guns and range a lot. Every time I go here it is a pleasant experience. Staff is solid, the inventory isnΓÇÖt bad but you can always order from them online and have it sent from their warehouse to the store in no time. Highly recommend this place if youΓÇÖre in East TN

As a person from Lexington KY. I would not recommend BUDS in either location. My advice to ANYONE educate yourself before making a purchase from these people..and remember they DO NOT DO A MILITARY DISCOUNT ...BUT BASS PRO DOES JUST UP THE ROAD... BUMP !!

Highly recommend this store. I've known about it for a long time but started going more when Hickok45 on YouTube did so many reviews with them providing the guns to review. The range is affordable and a great experience.

Not handicap friendly too many stairs to get around, especially if you are handicap or disabled. I have nice guns and stuff in there. I like the old, medieval helmets and swords .loads of stuff animals on the wall.

Just be aware that if an item is one price online they will not honor it in the store. Especially on ammo. Shop accordingly.

I am writing to express my utter dissatisfaction with the treatment my family and I received during a recent visit to BuddΓÇÖs Shooting Range. We are vacationing from Florida and decided to visit your establishment as a recreational activity. After completing the required waivers, we approached the gunsmith at the counter to provide our IDs. My brother presented his temporary ID, which was issued due to a traffic-related matter. The gunsmith, however, informed usΓÇöverbatimΓÇöthat ΓÇ£You canΓÇÖt shoot here if you arenΓÇÖt a permanent resident.ΓÇ¥ Since when does a shooting range operate as an immigration office? Baffled by this unwarranted scrutiny, we contacted the manager, who proceeded to explain that the policy was in place because ΓÇ£we donΓÇÖt know if you are here legally.ΓÇ¥ It is one thing to enforce legitimate regulations surrounding the purchase of firearms, but to interrogate and alienate potential customers who simply want to enjoy your facility is both offensive and unprofessional. This discriminatory behavior is unacceptable. Instead of fostering a welcoming environment, your staff demonstrated prejudice and poor judgment. I urge you to reevaluate your policies and training to ensure your establishment treats all customers with respect and fairness.

# Avoid This Place Due to Discriminatory Behavior I recently visited this establishment and was appalled by the discriminatory behavior displayed by the staff. Despite having a temporary license and being willing to follow their rental process, I was subjected to racist questioning about my immigration status. The employee's insistence on seeing a work visa was not only unnecessary but also discriminatory. It's unacceptable for any business to treat customers in such a manner. I strongly advise against visiting this place due to their discriminatory practices. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect and dignity, regardless of their background or immigration status.

Bud's is a great place to buy and try your guns, etc. The store has what you need and the range is first class all the way. From renting a gun to the range helpers, it could not have been better. I just had a great experience first time at their indoor range. The range-master was very kind and very personable. The employees I spoke to were all really cool. The range was first-rate and the facilities feel new, secure and fun to engage in. I’ll be coming back for sure. 🏆

Very well organized, lots of inventory, busy atmosphere, not nearly enough employees for the pistol counter. Never got to see what I was interested in because a couple of customers hogged the two employees they had with questions.

TO THOSE READING: YOU CANNOT BUY A GUN INSTORE UNLESS YOU ARE A TENNESSEE RESIDENT. IT WILL NEED TO BE SHIPPED TO AN FFL Good selection of both handguns and rifles, and it was tidy and interesting. However, I know the staff were extremely busy, but they did lack general good customer service.

Better go in there knowing exactly what you want and don't ask questions. Unfriendly and not willing to help. Have had this experience on more than one occasion. Considered if it was because I'm a woman, but my boyfriend was treated the same way when he's been in there before (without me). They could have had my money so easily, I was ready to purchase but I took my business elsewhere where the staff is super friendly and ready to answer any and all questions enthusiastically and kindly. I won't be back to Buds.

Great selection of firearms. Prices can be a little steep on some brands, but that is to be expected. Customer service is lacking, you're treated like a village idiot when you are asking simple questions about a particular firearm. Other than that, Great place to go shoot in doors.
