A: Trim and make your own they make those real short slug rounds for 12 gauge. A face full of shot from a 2.75 inch round with 4 shot would suck and id probably let you win the fight and call it a day.

I've ordered several items from Buds both firearms and ammo. When everything goes well as it usually does, great no problem. My last order had issues and I was fairly confident that when I contacted customer service it would be resolve quickly and professionally. I simple cannot get an answer from customer service in any format. One of the chat agents did tell me as long as they shipped it and UPS says they delivered it too bad. Told me he could start an investigation but it would probably be denied so kind of got the impression he didn't really want to bother. Said he would contact me in three days since he was off and apparently no one else in customer service could respond. This has illustrated my frustration with customer service, no response. Was told I'd get an email over a week ago and still nothing. Don't really want to have to wait on hold or go through a chat bot to reach a person so I'll just drop it. Finally they push shipping insurance but apparently as long as they ship it and UPS says they deliver it then the insurance isn't any good, only applies to anything that might happen in shipping. If you want to use this business hopefully everything will go well, and in fairness it usually does, but if you have a problem forget any type of professional assistance.

Called customer service telling him that I had a crack in the frame of my gun. Customer service is telling me that this isnΓÇÖt covered under warranty. I thought it was a scratch when I first took it out of the box At my FFL i put 20 rounds through it I took it down to clean come to find out ThatΓÇÖs a crack in the frame buds should have done better quality control before they ship out their guns to people that pay $500 for a gun that you can never use

DO NOT recommend this gun shop. We have shopped here for 8 years because it is close to our home and has a large selection; but unfortunately it has gotten progressively worse over the years. The biggest issue we had was getting our scopes mounted to our rifles. We had two rifles we were outfitting for our upcoming elk and bear hunt, one of them being a $2,000 rifle bought specifically for this hunt. We bought two Vortex scopes at Buds and had them mount the scopes in store. We went home and spent a few weeks sighting them in and practicing our shots. The first rifle wasnΓÇÖt sighting in correctly, and we found out the scope rings were not torqued to Vortex specs, causing the scope to move around. Thankfully Vortex has an AMAZING warranty and sent us a brand new scope. When putting the final few practice shots through the $2,000 rifle, we heard the barrel crack and nitrogen release under pressure of the rings, which come to find out were hand-tightened and not torqued to Vortex spec either. When we brought the issue to attention at Buds, the employee that mounted the scope stood his ground saying that he torqued them to what Vortex had on the scope ring box, but when I called Vortex to tell them those numbers they stated that thereΓÇÖs no way he got those off the back of the box, because those numbers are way too tight for the rings. Vortex has been wonderful about sending us replacements, but the damage caused by the Buds employee resulted in us not being able to take our $2000 rifle with an $800 scope on an elk hunt that was years of planning and investing in the process. The employees have a ΓÇ£better than youΓÇ¥ attitude about everything. We were looking for a pistol that they confirmed to have in stock on the phone. When we got to the store we asked one of the workers at the counter if we could hold it to see if we liked it. He was an arrogant young man. He glanced at the wall and said ΓÇ£we donΓÇÖt have one of those.ΓÇ¥ After explaining that we called to make sure it was in stock, I took one look at the wall behind him and found the gun we were looking for. He wouldnΓÇÖt even look at me as he begrudgingly turned around and got the pistol from the wall. DonΓÇÖt do business here. Take your business elsewhere. We traded convenience for quality when we found a family owned gun shop that we happily drive over an our to get to from our house now.

I ordered a new Kimber CDS9 from their website. The gun was shipped quickly but when it arrived it was in dismal shape. The barrel, slide, magazines, and internals were filthy. The gun was filthy and covered in dirty oil. It had been clearly taken for a joy ride by someone at Buds or their new affiliates at Uncle LeeΓÇÖs (where the gun was shipped from). I contacted Buds about this, never once mentioning refunds or discounts, and was met with denials and lack of empathy. The response I received was ΓÇ£many firearms are test fired at the factory.ΓÇ¥ I sent them a response with pictures of the pistol field stripped and was told that the gun was ΓÇ£delivered new from the factory and had never been fired by anyone outside the factoryΓÇ¥. I was disappointed by this as IΓÇÖve ordered dozens of guns through them and have never had issues. I left a review on their website with pictures of the filthy parts and the review was heavily edited and altered to make the review look like a five star review. IΓÇÖm shocked that they would do this and would not take ownership. I did not want money back or a refund. I wanted them to know that their new affiliates at Uncle LeeΓÇÖs were conducting shady business. Needless to say, I will never be doing business with them again, nor will I be recommending them again to anyone I know. Sad that such a great company could let such lack of oversight and quality control get swept under the carpet, manipulating customer reviews, and lying about their employees actions.

I went to my local FFL to check out ccw, and I found one that I really liked and was perfect to carry. I went on Buds website and noticed the same handgun was a lot cheaper than my local FFL. I never purchased a firearm online because I like to support my local FFL, so I decided to try purchasing online. Long story short, I did all of the transaction processes and went back and forth with Buds customer service. A day later, I got an email stating the Firearm I was purchasing was NOT COMPLAINT with my state. What a freaking joke. I realized the Buds Complaint Firearms page is old and not up to date. They have a few 10+ year old guns and endless revolvers. They did not want to work with me or help out visiting my states 2025 approved handgun roster. I ended up going back to my FFL and purchased the handgun at a higher cost. What a first disappointing experience with Buds Gun Shop. THANK YOU BUD'S

Had some problems with the website during the initial order. It's wrong for BUDs not to have a link to an actual human, not a chat bot imo. After the initial problems were overcome, everything else went great. VERY fast delivery at a highly competitive price point. Almost dinged em down another star for their "LE" ammo restriction on us lowly common folk, however, it may be a legal issue for them, so just typing a gripe over it. Overall a pretty good experience

They have very good prices. But they will not work with or help knowingly with conservation non-profits. I recently ordered several firearms that were going to be used at a conservation fundraiser. They had a rebate that made the price point attractive to building funds (for conservation). I ordered the firearms and notified the FFL who is great to work with to update their license with Bud's. A few days later (after the rebate end date was passed) I received an email where they asked for me to call them. I figured it was likely about the FFL renewing their license info. When I called they asked why I ordered these firearms. I told them they were eventually going to be used at a fund raiser for a national non- profit conservation group. They passed me around a little over the phone and said they would not sell any firearm that would eventually be used by any non-profit. I explained to them that they were sending the guns to a FFL and the FFL would legally transfer them to the eventual winner. Also that these transactions happen thousands of times a year and are legal and critical to many non- profits. They still refused. It's been two weeks and they have not returned the money! I would recommend anybody who hunts or supports any non- profits pay a little more to support a more reputable, non-profit friendly vendor. Such as Cabelas, who ended up working with me on a deal to fix the problem buds caused.
