Bullard Creek WMA Shooting Range
Q: How much is it to shoot at the gun range? Do I have to bring my own targets? My husband is trying to teach me gun safety and how to shoot, looking for a safe place to do that. TIA.
A: WMA ranges are not free - you need to purchase a Georgia hunting or fishing license which includes unlimitted yearly access to all GA WMA ranges. You will need to provide your own targets at all WMA ranges and most provide a target stand but not all. All provide a shooting bench but not all provide a seat if you want to shoot from a sitting position. You are not allowed to rapid fire, usually the rule is one shot per second. Follow the rules and enjoy a safe and fun day at the range.

A: 100 yrds, for those sites that have a pistol and rifle range, the pistol range is 50 yrds and rifle range is 100 yrds

Great place to sight in rifle. Also has place to practice and sight in handgun.

Great place to let off some steam. Clean and peaceful place. Generally nice folks from chemical engineers to gas station attendants. Bring out everything you got and get to know your weapons. Much nicer than big hammock

It's clean. Was not busy when I was there since it was a weekday. It's just sad to see cigarette butts in the area even if it's a no smoking place. Also saw some ammo cases on the floor that was left by other people. Ended up cleaning it along with my spent casing.

Good well maintained shooting range with one side rifle 100 yards and one side pistol. Metal frames are already there so bring cardboard to place targets on.
