Q: How much are gun rentals? What variety of weapons do you have to rent?

A: We have a wide range of firearms too numerous to list here. You can expect to find popular versions of every type of weapon from .22's to machine guns. Most firearms, except the machine guns, rent for $10. Our firearms, all less than two years old, are routinely cleaned and expertly maintained. I attended a scheduled lesson which included safety, handling, and use of my new pistol. As a beginner, I thought I would be intimidated. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly I was put at ease by my female instructor Pam Anderson. She is not only a master at her craft but a wonderful educator and made me feel at ease in both safety aspects and the detailed precision it takes to use a firearm. I highly recommend this facility and Pam as an instructor for your private lesson, small group lessons, or group functions.

Ask for Roy!! He was so patient, kind, and helpful! I’ve been shooting for years and he taught me techniques nobody else has! He didn’t rush when you asked him a question and was always on the lookout to make sure you’re safe and confident without being overbearing or making you feel incompetent! I’m definitely going to book private lessons with Roy! Awesome!!👏

Overall cleanliness and feel in the shop were satisfactory and the gentleman that checked us in was helpful. Navigating the waiver on the tablet was a little finicky, had to do it twice but may have been user error. Had high expectations walking into the range and then immediately realized this wasn't the place for me. The rude range guide, we'll call him Caleb be cause that's his name, was constantly hovering over my shoulder standing behind me in my bay. I understand safety is paramount but him constantly interrupting me while I'm shooting was uncalled for. He kept yelling about bolts being open and I get it, but he seriously needs some people skills because he has zero. His interactions were awkward and just made him come off as a little prick. He touched my firearms several times without my permission. The correct way to handle a situation like that would be to inform the customer of an issue and allow them to correct it. As we were getting ready to leave he started yelling at my friend about his arm not being in a case. If he were paying as much attention as he thought he was, he would've noticed the firearm wasn't in a case when we walked in. It was as if he were annoyed that people were using the range. The kid ultimately ruined what could've been a great experience. 1 and done for me. I truly feel like my money could be spent better elsewhere.

Went to the range today with my GF and had a great time! Cody gave us excellent instruction and helped us get more comfortable with the fundamentals. Even though I have experience with shooting in and out of the military, I was blown away at how detail oriented he was and the depth of knowledge that Cody had. The rest of the staff, from the RSOΓÇÖs to the desk/counter were super friendly and professional as well. 10/10 I would recommend anyone, regardless of experience, to go shoot with Cody at B&B.

While visiting my son in Huntsville he suggested a trip to one of his favorite places, Bullet and Barrel. I could not have been pleased with the total experience! I was a little apprehensive because I have never shot a hand gun in my life but my apprehension was immediately put to rest. The place is spotless, the people are friendly and knowledgeable and the experience was outstanding. A big thank you to Tommy who taught and assisted me during my time there! I will be returning the next time I'm in town.

Took the ladies only handgun 101 with Pam Anderson, she was great! We learned a lot and got to shoot multiple different guns once we got into the range, along with the help of Jeff, who helped us shoot the revolvers. IΓÇÖm very much a beginner, but I felt very comfortable working with both of them, and they made it very stress-free. I will be back!

My fiancé & I had the absolute best date night here! All of the staff were so kind & helpful! I knew once I was behind that trigger, I would more than likely freeze up. Roy stepped in & broke down every single mandatory detail I needed to know to be able to learn & have time to fire some rounds. He is so knowledgable, kind & above all else, respectful! I walked away feeling more confident & informed about how to use a firearm. It was a great learning experience & yet a fun time! 🤩 we will definitely be back! I cannot recommend them enough! & Doug was also so kind & helpful as well! 😊

I have been to every shooting facility in the Huntsville area. This facility stands way above everybody else. They have a complete program of Service, gunsmith, TRAINING. Other facilities may have a much Larger selection, but where they excel at Bullet&Barrel is the quality of their sales staff and administration. I have found the staff at a local competitor to be arrogant, rude, and gruff. That is something you will not see at this facility. The shooting range is very nice. The range officers are extremely helpful.

I was veey impressed with the facility and instructors. Pam Anderson was my instructor for introduction to firearms. I had used firearms before my lesson but was in no way comfortable using them. Pam put me at ease instantly with her kindness and instruction. I now can't wait to go back to range. Thank you Pam and Bullet and Barrel for having such a welcoming atmosphere for an often intimidating sport for women. Thank you

My husband and I were very impressed with how easily Michael explained how to responsibly and safely handle our guns. He gave us ample time to practice each task and answered our questions clearly and respectfully. Michael is patient, knowledgeable, and very thorough. We look forward to continuing our lessons with him and highly recommend Michael should you be searching for a firearms instructor. Thanks, Michael!

#1 shop and range in Huntsville. Customer service is top-notch and everyone is welcomed with the same enthusiasm. I use the range and gunsmithing service regularly and have a great, safe time here.

If you want to deal with emotionally immature range bullies then go here. They'll turn a potentially fun day of introducing new shooters of the sport into a stressful day of being yelled at. Unprofessional.

Today, I took the Handgun 101class for ladies. I have never held or shot a handgun before. Pam, the instructor was very knowledgeable and helpful in teaching handgun basics such as safety, stance, hand grips for revolvers and semi automatic handguns, parts of the guns and other topics. The class participants were able to practice in the gun range what we learned in class. I'm glad that I signed up for the class and anticipate taking additional classes to prepare me for purchasing and responsibly owning a handgun.

Predatory towing. Do not park in their lot ever. They will have you towed even when they are closed. YouΓÇÖre better off parking on the street. $500 extra for my family to attend an event next door because their parking lot was full. Enter the greedy neighbors.

This place has basically become my home away from home. The staff can come off as a little standoffish at times, depending on a variety of factors such as how busy they are and the attitude of other customers, but over l overall there are no complaints. Whether you're an expert or you've never even held a firearm before, this is the place to go-- safety and responsible handing is their priority so you'll be in good hands.

I have been to every major gun range in Huntsville. As a female, this is the range that I feel most comfortable shooting at. The facilities are extremely clean, well-maintained, and the staff are extremely friendly. I am a new shooter, and I never once felt intimidated by the staff. They are quick to give friendly advice and pointers without being condescending or suffocating. One gentleman was even nice enough to stand with me while I shot to help me improve my aim. I liked it so much that today me and a group of my girl friends took a ladies only handgun class. Everyone had a lot of fun, even those who had never shot a handgun before. With the staffs lessons, even the newbies were able to hit the center of the target. I would hands-down recommend Bullet And Barrel to any shooter in the area, especially women!

Dropped in today was greeted by Pamela Anderson. Very nice, professional woman. Pam took the time to give me a tour of the facility and meet the other employees. This is a top of the line shooting range offering pistol and rifle ranges, firearm sales, rentals, a gunsmith on site, firearm supplies, ammo and much more. Highly recommend it.

Today my son and I went shooting at Billet & Barrel. The range is a beautiful, modern, roomy 5 Star facility. The staff was friendly and helpful. I encourage every shooter to check out this facility. I'm a retired Marine and found out Wednesdays are free for retired Military. Definitely the best place I've found in Northern Alabama.

I went to the range today to blow off some steam and cycle through a few clips. I'm an amateur and have a lot to learn, to be honest. I just thought I'd fire off a few rounds and go about my day. Not my first rodeo at all. There I was plinking away and feeling pretty good about my first clip when the range master came over and offered a few tips. Bobby (Robert?), I believe. He helped me with my grip and was able to tell me what I was doing that needed improvement. To say that my groupings shrank would be an understatement. He was friendly, kind and knowledgeable. He helped me tremendously and never made me feel bad/inadequate in any way. My experience was so amazing. MUCH better than any YouTube videos! Lol

I had the opportunity to receive one-on-one instruction from Jeff White. Jeff took the time to understand my needs and personal objectives. He emphasized the elements of the training that aligned with my personal goals. Instruction was superb. Facilities are top rate. I will definitely return for next level instruction.

Visited this range on a recommendation from a friend. I wanted a good course to: Γÿà Introduce me to the equipment Γÿà Demystify the mechanics and use of firearms Γÿà Get a professional foundation in grip, stance and execution Γÿà Have a professional available while I shoot for the first time. Γÿà Get insight on Marksmanship and the competitive world of firearms. A trainer there recommended me to their Modern Handgun Apprentice course and it could not have been a better course for me! It more than filled all these desires and is the smoothest way, in my opinion, to go from zero knowledge to have a solid foundational understanding of handguns in general. I love history and facts. The first part of the class was a wealth of quality information. I took notes. The trainer, Michael Price, was patient and willing to stop and answer any questions we had. The class was a great size for individual learning. It gave us so much confidence to hear about his background and experience so we knew that we could depend on the knowledge we were receiving. By the time he said we could go try it all out I was so hype. Never pulled the trigger of a firearm in my life before then but I was so stoked that I hit the X on the target. It's incredible to me how educators can take a total newbie and teach them skills like that in such a short time. It's one thing to be able to do something, but the true testiment to your skill is if you can teach it. That speaks to the validity of your technique. Lastly, you aren't going to find friendlier people than the ones you encounter at this range. You won't find a safer place to shoot. And you won't find better equipment. Thank you for your services Michael P. Good luck on the competitions. Also, Jarrell was awesome. I like his beard. :)

Took my fiance to Bullet and Barrel for a class called Intro to Modern Handguns. The instructor, Jeff, was patient, kind, and knowledgeable. The material was presented well and concisely, with him beginning by asking my fiance if she was a visual or auditory learner, and tailoring his delivery to her style of learning. An hour or two later, she was putting bullets on target downrange, having never before even held a handgun. Jeff brought 4 different guns that he thought would work for her, based on her hand structure and strength. She was able to figure out exactly the gun she wanted for herself. Safe handling and practices were emphasized and gently enforced. The entire experience was well beyond our expectations and I cannot recommend enough how valuable a class such as this is for teaching gun safety and operation. On a side note, she's a much better shot than I am :)

Big gunstore with lots of parts and accessories. Has silencershop kiosk and a good selection of suppressors. Also has a very nice gun range that is good for groups with a snack bar. Rents guns out as well including full auto machine guns for range use.
