My son and I went to shoot trap yesterday at the Caldwell gun club. The facility is nice and clean. Before we started shooting trap, my son called for three different birds and it didnΓÇÖt throw. Out of 100 rounds we got 88 birds thrown. When you shoot trap you want 25 birds thrown per round. I understand having missed birds, or broken bird throw but these werenΓÇÖt even thrown. 12 rounds left with out birds thrown. Not very happy experience, The did say that there would be extra birds in case this did happen that didnΓÇÖt happen at all, no extra birds given to us.

Was a great event for the Ronald Mcdonald House... the folks running the range did a great job keeping us moving while emphasizing safety.

Great range for Trap, 5-Stand, and Sporting Clays. Staff is friendly and helpful. Sporting Clays course frequently changes and has menus at each station to allow you to select the difficulty to match your skill level. On top of that, the course changes almost every week so you are always seeing new targets. Highly recommend.

I really enjoy shooting both trap and sporting clays here. Great sporting clay range. The folks went way past the good customer relationships mark when they went with me when I shot solo on the sporting clay course to ensure that it worked without a puller. Thanks again.

Caldwell Gun Club has been a HUGE supporter of Youth. They have allowed Treasure Valley Pheasants Forever to host multiple "Learn to Hunt" shooting events over the last several years. Scores of Kids from 10 to 15 years old have gotten their first instruction on safely shooting a shotgun at CGC. The staff has bent over backwards to ensure a safe and fun shooting environment at all of our shoots. Thank You Caldwell Gun Club! My son shoots Trap, 5 stand and sporting clays here with his team. It's a great facility with helpful staff. The club has been exceptionally welcoming to the junior shooters which helps to guarantee that future generations of shooters continue our traditions. Several of the older regulars who are there daily actually act as unofficial ambassadors for the shooting sports, commenting on the kids abilities as they come off the line and giving helpful tips on how to improve. Shooting here is a positive experience all around

This is a great place for those who are seasoned shooters as well as those who are new to the sport. The course is set up nicely with many variable targets. Clean and easy to get around. Safety is a priority too which I appreciate greatly. The staff is super awesome and always willing to help out.

I have shot sporting clays at the Caldwell Gun Club several times over the past 2 years and have always had a wonderful experience. The staff is helpful, friendly and just genuinely nice people. The target options are incredible with something for everyone to enjoy from beginners to master shooters.

Caldwell gun club has Trap, Five Stand , and Sporting Clay. The Sporting Clay's course is family friendly and fun to shoot for the beginner to the expert. There staff is friendly, welcoming and helpful. Caldwell gun club is a huge supporter of many youth groups and big into supporting Ducks Unlimited and many other groups. I would recommend Caldwell gun club to anyone and I'd love to see more families out there

Great opportunity to shoot trap, 5-stand and sporting clays at all levels. Multiple menu options at each sporting clays stand for the first time shooter all the way up to your experienced traveling clay buster. They utilize the EZ-Pull target management system for trap, 5-stand and sporting. Right off the freeway and easy to get to.

Caldwell gun club has just about everything a shotgun shooter could want. The staff and volunteers have transformed the facility to into a comfortable, friendly and safe location for shooting trap, sporting clays and 5 stand. They host frequent competitions in all events for the competitive shooters as well. ItΓÇÖs a great and close location to practice almost all the clay target sporting disciplines. Thanks to the staff who have responded to the shooters needs with the clay target variety and environment that makes it an enjoyable experience for both the novice and the serious shooter.

Have shot there a few times. Although I donΓÇÖt live in the state, will definitely try to make it there at least once a year. Great club to shoot some sporting clays!

Great place, nice staff, clean, fear prices, no need membership but it helps to have it, respectful shooters that helps you to learn more, and close to my home, I will come back
