Q: Does anyone know if it is legal to carry a handgun (not concealed) in the open ( ie in a holster but not concealed)?
A: As far as I know you are ok as long as your firearms are in plain sight. I have been laid up for a while so I am not current. You might attend a club meeting...there you will benefit from from a wealth of information from the membership. A great bunch of guys and gals!! As soon as my health improves that's my first stop!! I am the wife of a member here and I will say that this range is both safe and well maintained. Yes, there are pistol owners who do not pick up their brass at the plinking range (my husband and I shoot revolvers) and even WE pick up other people's messes. If everyone did a little of this as well, then, yes, it would be cleaner but that is a problem with the general population anywhere. Still, a lovely place where I can drop the HUBS off for an hour while I get some errands run. I hope it remains open for a long time to come....long enough for those leaving brass behind to be shamed into picking up after themselves....

Went there with a good friend, and his friends a few times. I love how they have multiple ranges setup a different distances. Very awesome, and not that busy which is a plus as well. I would highly recommend this range.
