Took my concealed carry course with Chase Dodson. It was my second time taking a concealed carry course; allowed my permit to expire like a dummy. These courses are certainly not intended to be fun. Eight hours of common sense instruction can get old really quickly, but, Chase did a great job. Way better than the first course I took with a different business. Chase made the class engaging and did well with practical instruction. In fact, I am thinking of going back to them for their defensive shooting course. I wouldn't hesitate going with these folks; the drive from N. Raleigh to Siler City was well worth it.

My name is Darnell, I attended a concealed class today 11/20/21 instructed by Jeff & Dawn and I was satisfied at the end of the class. Both were very informative and made me feel comfortable the whole process. I drove one hour away just to attend this class. The class was so good and welcoming, I feel like I should attend their training courses and shoot at their range . Very helpful and affordable! Thank you

Wanted to take a introduction to pistols for the wife and I. We contacted Carolina Firearms training and arranged for private lessons from Chase. Chase was the real deal, informative, engagining, respectful and easy going, he taught to our pace. He answered everyone of our questions and allowed us to get comfortable with the firearms. He made sure we are educated and safe in our instruction. We will be back for the Conceal and Carry class. Thanks Chase for a great experience.

The instructor, Lori, did seem to know enough about the laws for NC. The part that troubled me was that she stated she had not carried in multiple years. Another thing that rubbed me the wrong way was her weapons manipulation and general firearms instruction was severely lacking. Most of what was taught was either outdated techniques or just flat out didnΓÇÖt make any sense. If youΓÇÖre going to teach a class like this please seek a higher level of education for yourself so you can instruct individuals in a proper and efficient way. I do however understand the instructor was going through a lot and had a lot on her mind due to personal issues, and she was super nice and helpful. But firearms instruction at this level is all the instruction that some people will ever receive. Please ensure you are teaching individuals at the highest level you are capable of.

Kevin Dodson is one of the most charismatic instructor I have the pleasure to know. He makes the class very interesting with a touch of humor. He is very knowledgeable on the use of fire arms and N.C. Gun laws. By far the best place in North Carolina to take your CC course.

Highly Recommend the CCW training class here. The instructors are great and provide lots of information on NC Gun Laws and Concealed Carry laws. The instructors are great at answering questions with real world scenarios so you walk out knowing exactly what you can and cannot do in certain defensive situations. The CCW class is a great value compared to other gun stores/training centers. Class size is about 50 but lots of individual attention if you need it. Great for beginners and veterans alike.

My girlfriend and I took the concealed carry class with Lori Ann instructing in June 2018. We had a wonderful time taking the class. We have watched Kevin's many videos on concealed carry on his youtube channel as KDOD357. Kevin's wife, Lori Ann, is an NRA pistol instructor and she made the course very interactive and enjoyable. We had a great time at this course. We appreciated Jeff's experience assisting with the class and on the range. Everything was done with top notch attention to safety and detailed instruction. This is a quality course. I am now a licensed concealed carry permittee thanks to Lori Ann, Kevin, Jeff and all of the people that put the time and effort into planning and instructing the course. I highly recommend them.

This is the best place to take the CCW class in the state of North Carolina. Kevin Dodson is the best firearms instructor anyone could ask for. His partner, LoriAnn, is a great teacher in her own right. AND! ... AT $49:00 dollars for this class you will not find a better deal with high quality instruction anywhere. I continue to tell all people I meet who want to get a CCW permit that Carolina Firearms Training is "THE" place for your instruction.

Short AAR for the Introductory to AR-15 course on August 23 2014. This is a one day course for new users of the AR-15, there is a lot of useful information for all skill levels. Our instructor for the day, Casey, took the time to make sure everyone in the class room grasp the fundamentals of the operation and maintenance of the rifle. After the class room section we transitioned to the range. The first order of business was obtaining a GOOD 300 Meter Zero on every ones weapon. As expected there was some adventures with this. LOL! With the zero obtained we went on to the military Alt C qualification, a timed fire section. Then on to several drills to sharpen and re-enforce the previous lessons. Expect to shoot a lot and expect to learn a lot and some good hearted kidding to boot! All in all a great course for the first time AR owner. Shoot Safe and Hope to see You at the Range!! Thanks Kevin and Casey for an enjoyable day.

A friend and l took the conceal carry class in Feb. Great class . Great instructors. Very knowledgeable of the laws and the do's and dont's of guns and gun safety. Great people Great class . If you're looking to get your conceal carry permit this is the place to go to
