Purchased a gun from a 3rd party website and carters was listed as a dealer that I could have the gun shipped to. The gun arrived two days later on a Wednesday at 10:30 am, around 4:30 pm I decided to give them a call since no one had reached out to let me know it had arrived and I told the associate I had a gun delivered to them he then just chuckled and said it would be ready on Friday. After waiting 3 business days for the check in process I arrived on Friday to pick it up and the gun counter associate I asked about it said ΓÇ£did we call you?ΓÇ¥ And proceeded to walk to the back. After a few minutes he returned and said it wasnΓÇÖt ready and that I would have to wait until Monday to pick it up. After further discussion with management on Saturday morning I believe the name was Morrell I was told that they think the gun got sent to their store in Katy and that they would let us know if that was indeed the case via phone call. After waiting until the following Tuesday and still not hearing anything back, 6 days after the gun had arrived I called again and was told there had been a mixup and that I would have to drive down to the store in Katy, 30 miles from me to get my gun, and sandy in their shipping warehouse was totally unhelpful and even insisted this was my fault for having the gun shipped to them. After getting off the phone with sandy I took the rest of the day off of work and made the drive. The store in Katy was able to then get my gun processed and I went home with it that day. Even after all of this trouble I didnΓÇÖt get a single apology and they still charged their 40$ drop ship fee on top of making me wait a week to get my new gun while also making me drive over an hour through Houston because of their mistake of sending it to the wrong store. Absolutely horrible customer service through and through will never be returning to any of their stores and honestly thatΓÇÖs kind of a shame because I liked the skeet fields. If I could rate 0 instead of 1 I definitely would.

Shot skeet and trap with Barry who was super friendly even though we couldnΓÇÖt shoot to save our lives. Mary and Jess at the front counter were very helpful and even let me try out RugerΓÇÖs new RMX in the pistol range!

Went here for my LTC and qualify on the range. I had a Great instructor Bruce Gilchrist heΓÇÖs been doing it for years. They have just about anything you need and have knowledgeable employees. And you can rent a gun to try it out before you buy . Pistols and rifles and at reasonable price.

Mistakes were made got kicked out but overall good experience, IΓÇÖm just a civilian FYI. I do think the siren could be a bit louder for cease fire but at the end of the day I respect the rules, glad the overall experience was positive with the boys

A very safe place to go shoot. Range staff was amazing. As with most ranges the ammo cost was higher than normal.

Called ahead to make sure they had a P365X with a safety. They said they did. Drove over an hour and a half just for them to not have it. Guy behind the counter didnΓÇÖt even want to check the back to see if someone set it aside or something. Huge waste of time. I would suggest checking out other locally owned businesses/ FFL because these guys canΓÇÖt even tell the difference between the models they have in stock. Typical gun salesman attitude from them.

Carters Country does not care about the lives of other people nor the surrounding community. They care only about themselves and their immediate patrons. Lives are being disrupted and people and their property are being negatively impacted by the never ending barrage of excessive gunshot noise for miles around all because they are not willing to take reasonable measures to convert to an indoor facility or install sound buffers. Their only stance is 'we were here first 45 years ago'..so what? Other people are here now too and instead of working with those with concerns over their operations they do nothing. Hopefully this business will close!

I recently visited and I couldnΓÇÖt be more impressed with the experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff who took the time to answer all my questions. The store has an incredible selection of firearms, accessories, and ammo, catering to all levels of experience.

Took my CHL class here and had the best experience. I was worried being in a classroom for 6 hours wouldΓÇÖve been dreadful but the instructor was a 10/10. Best sense of humor and made it a good time

Good outdoor range to shoot my 7.62x39mm. Only problem for me is the rule that says not rapid fire. Limited to one shot per second.

Good selections and generally friendly staff. Only issue is for a single person you pay for each weapon you plan to shoot. Seems excessive.

Worst gun range I've ever been too if you are any kind of enthusiast for firearms. They make you PAY PER GUN that's right you bring 4 different 9mm handguns that'll be 60 bucks. Draw from a holster : nope Double tap or any kind of cadence at speed: nope The shop is dope with a huge selection if this was a rating for the shop would be a 4 or 5 but stay away from this range if you are any kind of experienced shooter and are shooting more than 1 gun Update : any range that charges per gun is getting 1 star so had to edit

I've been going there for decades, it gets busy in the weekends so I only go during the week. The best time to go is on a rainy day, during the week, just at opening time. No wait No riff raff No idiots And the range officers will help you out. I could go to other ranges but nah. The kids like looking at the taxidermy. So there's that.
