The staff here is the best. They were friendly and knowledgeable. This place has tower shoots, 5 stand, sporting clays, a rifle range and more. I came with a group for a bachelor party and we stayed in the cabins. We will definitely be coming back annually to do the tower shoot.

Amazing place with unbelievably friendly and helpful staff. Pheasant hunts are very fun and they make sure you have an excellent time. Sporting clays courses are challenging and worth shooting multiple times. Cabins on site are lovely and I look forward to staying in them again.

A friend and I went up yesterday and had a great time. Everyone there was happy to share knowledge and stories about hunting, how they train their dogs, and they even showed me how to clean a pheasant! I learned a lot, and it was a great time. Our guide, Jeremy, showed us how to read the behaviors of the hunting dogs. Also, I should point out that Jeremy was particularly mindful of positioning and safety--always a good combination.

We reserved a cabin to spend a weekend at a shooting event with friends. Spent days cooking and preparing; only to discover that they rented the cabin out to someone else with no notice to us.

There is never anyone at the front desk to check in.... you drive all the way out to the middle if no where to get here and no one is there!!! Very aggravating & unprofessional.

It’s too bad to have to write such a negative review of this place, but since they won’t even get back to us after having complained twice I can no longer recommend spending your money here. A group of us have been here twice for pheasant hunts. The first time was great, 4.5 out of 5 stars, mainly due to a stellar guide. The second time we were split into groups. One group got the same guide as last time and had a great time. The other group had a comically bad experience. The guide was rude and kep yelling at the hunters. Several of the birds were dead upon arrival, while others had broken wings and wouldn’t fly. If birds weren’t immediately shot the guide would just say «they’re gone» and not make any effort to go after them. Finally he forgot where he put some of the birds and called of the hunt. All in all the group came back with 7 birds out of 14. Having only shot 4 or 5 of them, with the dogs taking care of the rest. In the weeks following this we contacted Catskill Pheasantry twice with a detailed description of the groups experience, asking if it would be possible with some sort of compensstion for the two hunters that had their hunt ruined. No reply. We will not be returning here.

I've hunted pheasant here twice and I plan to go again. All around, it's a quality experience. Guides and dogs are great. You'll hit at least 80% of your limit every time.

Friendly staff and a great setup; both 10-station courses offer unique presentations and fun targets. Good realism to the target setting offering challenging targets without requiring 60+ yard shots. Very few "novelty" targets such as rabbits or battues but presentations that were enjoyable just the same. FITASC setup offers a more challenging combination of longer and faster targets. While I didn't shoot the 5-stand, the number of presentations on offer looked as good as any I've shot. Overall, putting 500 rounds down range, I had maybe 3 total no-birds out of the trap and no broken/out-of-order stations. Very reasonable pricing on clays and cart rental. I would not hesitate to make the trip again in the future.

This is a great place to spend a day. And older kids are welcome on any hunt. Or you can rent a cabin for a day or weekend $130 a night

Came here with a group of friends this past weekend. The rental guns were terribly maintained with rust all over them. It takes a lot for a Remington 870 not to work but somehow they managed to do it. Of the 10 stations 3 were out of clays and when we called to get the stations reloaded they told us they were out of clays and couldn't reload anymore.

We just spent 3 days in their cabin. Wife and daughter fell in love with this place. Cabin was super clean and perfect. We brought up our 5 month GSP and Jeremy was quick and happy to give me advice on training her. We spent some time skeet shooting, trail hiking, running the pups on planted birds making a bomb fire at night and just relaxing. All in all this is definitely a family friendly place and extremely affordable. Owner was on site and was super friendly Thanks Jeremy and Staff! Jason, Naomi and Beth will be back soon!

6 of us went here for a Bachelor party, it was much more awesome than we thought it would be! The guys running this place were really nice and informative. The scenery and atmosphere was great, and the 2 wooded sporting clay courses were very challenging, and fun at the same time. None of us had ever gone sporting clay shooting before, and we still had a blast. I would say to rent the golf carts / gators from them, makes travel alot easier. One thing we made a major mistake on was bringing our own food and beverages. We got up there at 10am, and by 2:30 pm we were so hungry we needed to stop shooting and leave to get food. So make sure to bring yourself some lunch!!! We will definitely be visiting this place again!!!
