I found this range after going to the other one that starts with a "D" that I wasn't impressed with..Cedar ridge is will kept safety oriented, and all the staff are showered clean and speak to you with respect. My family and I love this place.

Great range. The folks here are super safe ( unlike other ranges I know) plus standards are set and enforced ( unlike other ranges ) and you donΓÇÖt get lied to by idiot managers / owners , who have NO clue on how to manage a gun range .

I love the open feel of this range. The majority of the times I've been, they try to space people out as much as possible. Makes it a super comfortable place to shoot without being packed into bays like sardines!

Classic Hill country gun range, plenty of lanes. Safe, but not overbearing. Patrons are friendly and everything is easily accessible. Dirt roads on the way in.

Friendly outdoor shooting range. Definitely a drive. I drive an hour to go here, but between the prices (dirt cheap), the range, the targets (steel and paper), and you can request specific steel targets( at a cost, but again cheap), I think it's worth it. 2 hours, 3 people, private lanes with steel targets, less than a hundred. If you use a "public lane", pay once (less than 20$) for all day shooting from open to close. They do sell ammo, cleaning kits, scopes, hand guns, rifles, red dots, thermals, and other accessories. They also have rentals. At least try the range once. THEY DO ALLOW 308/7.62 and have good lanes for sitting in scopes.

I love this range. I think they are very safety conscious, Yet they allow you to use almost any type of weapon out there. The staff is Wonderful. They treat you like family when you're there and The gunsmith is always happy to take a look at weapons that are not functioning properly and he returns them to me functioning. Their costs for range service and gunsmithing services are extremely fair and I highly recommend them.

Staff were great when it came to getting us out on the range and set up quickly... some of the crowd not so much. Staff were helpful and concise, sandbags, rifle rests, etc. all readily available. Shooting area was great, somewhat private for a small group and no overbearing rules to speak of. However, a group several bays over to us was yelling racially charged violent remarks. As far as I could tell, no one moved to do anything despite the fact they repeatedly did this loud enough to be heard across several bays. Take that as you will, but personally it made several members of our group and other shooters in our bay visibly uncomfortable, and reflects poorly on any business to foster an environment that feels unwelcoming to customers of any race.

This range is awesome. I always have good days and friendly range neighbors but this passed month I have ran into (Karen's) and it's so annoying. Complaint about my guns are loud. Or my children crying.

Would've been 5 except they accused me of targeting screws holding targets. Target in question is in pic I posted. No idea what that's about. Guess I'm just a terrible shot if it was me. Despite that it's a great range.
