Q: I want to learn to clean my own firearms. Is there a class available or where can I go to be taught ? Thanks much.

A: You can find everything you need on YouTube, just make sure your gun is empty and safe and do your cleaning away from children's.

- Wamed AL (5 years ago)

A: Rule #1... CLEAR THE WEAPON FIRST!!! Sounds like common sense, but its ridiculous how frequently people accidentally discharge rounds left in them before handling firearms...

- Joe Augliera (5 years ago)

A: YouTube had been really good to me on that matter.

- Nick Unger (5 years ago)

A: It is far easier to go on Youtube and search for your type of firearm unless if you have one that is uniquely built. It is also important to remember than the majority of firearms function similarly, and by extension are built similarly--so learn to clean one and you can do them all.

- Parker (5 years ago)

A: Yes, but they tend to get quite busy. I would recommend calling first

Came in with my bf, neither of us had much experience with guns. Colt walked us through everything for like an hour to help us decide on our first pistol! Def coming back soon to shoot some more with friends

Keith was a great teacher he was knowledgeable about everything in the class. From the ground up from breaking down my rifle cleaning, maintenance, learning about every part of the rifle it was a really and fun knowledgeable class. Definitely canΓÇÖt wait to take the 2 class and take some private lessons with Keith. Thanks again Keith for all the knowledge I feel way more comfortable with my rifle now!! And thanks again Centennial Gun Club. Best place in CO.

My husband and I took the conceal class last week. I think Julie did an amazing job. Julie was excellent in the classroom answering our questions and explaining guns, new laws and how the concealed carry permit works. She was thorough on the range making sure everyone in the class knew what they were doing and doing like we were supposed to. We liked her so much we wanted our son to go to her class but she wasn't available when he was home from college.

Julie was a patient, informed gun expert and went at a pace which was comfortable for all levels of experience. I thoroughly enjoyed the class and wasnΓÇÖt afraid to ask all my inexperienced questions. Thank you!

$150 for a transfer... when most places charge more like $50... utterly absurd and predatory

I just completed the Concealed Carry Permit class. Julie Godfrey is a wonderful instructor. She emphasizes safety over everything else and similarly emphasizes the need to deescalate a situation in order to prevent having to use the techniques of this class.

I loved Joey's relaxed, honest and humble approach to this class. It helped removed barriers of intimidation and doubt about moving forward with this sport!

Just finished a Concealed Handgun Permit class with Julie. If I could give six stars, I would. This is my third or fourth class like this, and the last was best. Both great classroom instruction and practical shooting. Can't recommend this class and Julie enough.

Pistol 201 was a blast! Austin did a fantastic job of re-orienting us to safety basics, posture, draw and aim techniques. And then he guided us through some really fun drills on the range. I will incorporate some of these drills into my practice. So fun! Thank you!

Came here for the first time for my birthday as a beginner. Staff was friendly, informative and polite. The rental selection process is fun and they have many many firearms to choose from. The range was awesome. The RSO was very kind in helping me set up my target. They have well maintained action target lines with a touch screen system to set your distance. I left with the biggest grin on my face and felt truly taken care of through the whole process. I never once felt out of place or rushed. Also - the storefront is extremely well maintained and very nicely presented. Just while writing this review, iΓÇÖm already itching to go back and maybe even join the club :) Thank you!

Go in, and go chat with Colton Heber, he is the man and will hook you up with whatever it is your needing. I was looking for a new pistol last week, and Colton took me through tons of wonderful options, the differences between them, and his personal preference(he seems to have a lot of first hand experience). He is incredibly knowledgeable and patiently addressed all my dumb questions. I couldn't be happier with the purchase and will absolutely be coming back just to buy from him again.

Good gun shop, but $150 for non member FFL transfers plus CBI fee… and doesn’t do private party transfers… pretty disappointing and not very 2A supportive.

I love this place. I am a member and have not looked back since. I have been to a few local ranges / shops and I believe CCG is the best! Every employee IΓÇÖve encountered has been friendly and helpful and willing to answer any questions I have. I took my concealed hand gun permit class here, and was very happy with the information given. A little bit of everything was taught, but was very heavy on teaching the legalities of owing a concealed carry license. My instructor was ΓÇ£Imtiaz StephensΓÇ¥ and provided excellent knowledge and instruction. I finally received my concealed license in the mail and itΓÇÖs largely because of Centennial Gun Club providing me with knowledge and a safe space to indulge into the firearms world. 10/10 recommendation.

Not a store for a noob. I went in to get some ammo for a new rifle my grandfather passed down to me this Xmas. I knew what caliber not much else, when he asked what brand asked for a brand but had mispronounced it and he rolled his eyes. Elitist store with elitist prices. This is the store for the posh.

The store and range are both very nice and clean. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable during the visits IΓÇÖve had here. However, when it comes to purchasing a firearm, I would strongly suggest exploring other options. You WILL pay more if you buy here. Most items are priced at the manufacturerΓÇÖs suggested retail price, and they do not offer price matching or negotiation. While itΓÇÖs a great facility, it feels like theyΓÇÖre kind of pulling one over on customers who may not research prices or have a bit more knowledge on the subject. I hope this review helps. Be a savvy consumer

The store is great, customer service at the range desk was great. The RSO in our range was rude and only paying attention to my wife( the only female in the range at the time) while others were shooting and hitting the motor box, my wife hit it 2x on accident, both times he reprimanded my wife, but he did not even look up at all the other males shooting at the time. My wife has a great shot and was thinking of becoming a member but your RSO made her so uncomfortable we left. If your RSO is going to keep the range safe he needs to do so FAIRLY for everyone, not just paying attention to the only female. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because facilities were nice. Super disappointed with the RSO.

I recently attended the Pistol 101 course at Centennial Gun Club, and I couldn't be more impressed. The class was short, sweet, and incredibly educational, striking the perfect balance between theory and hands-on practice. The instructor, Imtiaz Stephen, was outstanding. He has a natural ability to make even the most intimidating topics feel approachable and easy to understand. His calm and clear teaching style helped ease any nerves, and his wealth of knowledge kept the class engaging from start to finish. I left the course feeling more confident and prepared, with a solid understanding of firearm safety and handling. I highly recommend this class to anyone looking for a foundational and fear-free introduction to pistols. Thank you, Centennial Gun Club and Imtiaz Stephen, for an excellent experience!

Nice store, however Went in to look at a firearm. Asked regarding trading 2 in. Went back on a Tuesday to have the 2pcs evaluated for trade in, they would take one citing it was only worth $250 in trade The other they told me they didnΓÇÖt want as they already had 2, that they hadnΓÇÖt put out. Both were in great to good shape. The one pc they would take and was only worth 350 ish book. Knowing they only give around 70% for trade against a purchase. However every one I found online in the same to worse shape was 450 ish and book value also showed the same. The person evaluating also knew I was looking to trade both for a new purchase. It stunned me he didnΓÇÖt even offer me $100 for the one pc. Might have gotten the sale at that point. Also everything was marked in their case at or just below retail with no negotiating, leaving me to look around further and finding several other Stores more willing to sell or offer the same thing at a lower price. I ended up buying from another store and ended up with the sell price being almost $100 cheaper than the price here.

I took the Pistol 101and Pistol Options classes with Keith and Todd as instructors. The classroom time was very informative and the range experience was very safe and professional. I am looking forward to purchasing a handgun and learning more about responsible gun ownership at Centennial Gun Club!

I purchased a firearm online from a different dealer and had it shipped to Centennial Gun Club because itΓÇÖs nearby my home. I was charged $150 for an FFL transfer fee. A $150 transfer fee is a bit excessive to say the least, especially when many other shops in the area and state only charge for the background check and a very low FFL fee at the most. DonΓÇÖt get me wrong, Im ok with paying a fee for them to receive and hold my firearm but $150 just doesn't make sense, the gun was only $400 before tax and shipping. It feels like robbery but business is business after all. This was a costly learning experience for my first time online purchase but I will take ownership as I did not call to ask prior to my purchase or review the policy on the website. (Reason for 2 stars instead of 1). That said, $150 is still ridiculous. I donΓÇÖt have anything else negative to say otherwise but if you are purchasing online I would suggest having it shipped elsewhere for pickup.

New to Firearms and shooting, I committed to a longer membership to help control costs which is a nice option I can see the discounts and rewards points stacking up. I purchased my first firearm here after trading out several rentals in the same hour. Thier ammo prices are steep, it's a range so I get it. Sales staff was friendly and helpful but the general staff at rental and range counter can be hit or miss generally cool enough I suppose. Gunsmith seems to know his business they pinned my magazines before I picked up my firearm and ground the rivet down well and I have no issues with either magazine. The range itself is awesome it's kept clean and operational, safety staff is approachable and appropriate in their reminders or corrections. Several classes available a little more costly than others in the area but with the membership discount they are more than fair. Instructors are knowledgeable and helpful. I met a staff member during one class who was super cool and offered advise openly so there are definitely some winners on staff. I changed my review to a 5 because staff only gets friendlier with time. Buy your ammo elsewhere.
