Q: In order to join I need to show up at meeting on last Wednesday.. I drove by once , before I knew this. How does a person trying to join get in past the security gate? It was unmanned needed a code I guess?? Thanks for any help.
A: Go to the web site and click on Club Forms and Documents. Then click on membership form. Read the directions for membership. Pretty sure you do not need a sponsor. For the new member meeting the gate should be up.

Because of the negligence of one of their members and a lack of supervision, this place was the cause of a wildfire that nearly destroyed a community of homes in the area. Do better.

A Steel Shooter's Paradise with a "Ding!" As an avid shooter who enjoys the satisfying clang of steel, I was thrilled to discover Central Jersey Rifle Club, located at Jackson Township, NJ. This range caters to a variety of shooting disciplines, but it truly shines for those of us who love the instant feedback and challenge of steel targets. What Sets This Range Apart for Steel Shooters: Diverse Steel Target Selection: From reactive falling plates to bring your own static gongs of various sizes, CJRP offers a wide array of steel targets to test your skills and keep things interesting. Long-Distance Steel: The highlight for me was the 300-yard steel target range. There's nothing quite like the anticipation as your round travels downrange, followed by the resounding "ding!" that signals a hit. Safe and Well-Maintained: The range staff clearly prioritizes safety, with clear guidelines and well-maintained shooting lanes, ensuring a satisfying shooting experience. Accommodating Atmosphere: Whether you're a seasoned long-range shooter or just starting to explore steel targets, the staff here is welcoming and knowledgeable. They are happy to answer questions and offer guidance. Additional Notes: Other Disciplines: While steel is the star of the show, CJRP also offers skeet, trap, and other shooting opportunities for those looking to mix things up. If you're a steel target enthusiast seeking a well-equipped range with long-distance capabilities, CJRP is a must-visit. The resounding "ding!" of a well-placed shot is the perfect soundtrack to a day of fun and challenging shooting.

This is one of the best private shooting clubs on the East Coast. It is however, a private club open to members and their guests only, not to the general public.

Also, very important safety is #1 most important thing. I hopefully will enjoy this place for the rest of my life.
