Very very cool, organized, and clean range. It wasn't busy when I got there on a Wednesday morning, but I can imagine on the weekends it's quite busy. Clean up after yourself and make a cash donation to keep this place running!

This place is amazing, long range with steel targets at various distances, a lot of rifle/ pistol pits/ranges, and a decent trap shooting area. All county maintained so itΓÇÖs a super clean and nice range. Well worth the 4.5 hour drive

Got there pretty early after a quick stop for breakfast on the way out. Had an entire lane to our selves. Plenty of shade, good distance on the range I think ours was 100 yards from the shade to the targets. Absolutely will go back again

Best free outdoor shooting range in the state. Can't think of any other ranges that come close free or otherwise.

Definitely one of the best, if not THE best public ranges in the state. The only down side is mud in the spring but even then itΓÇÖs worth the drive. Way cleaner than any BLM or Fish and Game range IΓÇÖve ever been to and IΓÇÖve been to a lot. Jan 22, there was still 400-500 yard range available, as well as a clay pigeon thrower and the smaller pistol ranges.

I had read previous reviews and decided to make the drive from Denver to stretch out the 6.5 a bit. The 800yd tragets seem to be gone and 600 is now the furthest they have targets. This range has the potential to be one of the best but with the steel starting at 200 and no options for steel with your pistols it is lacking a little. Google is incorrect and it is open on weekends. Over all a great range especially when it's free. Everyone should make a donation though.
