A truly wonderful range with reasonable prices. Staff is wonderful and never overbearing. RSO Jeff was a joy to talk to and full of knowledge. I will recommend this range 100% of the time to people who would like to shoot past 100 yards in a friendly and safe environment.

great place to shoot, you can drive up to the pistol bays, they have steel targets, the long range goes out to 600 yds they even have a place where you can sight youΓÇÖre rifle in, a shot gun bay and a all purpose bay, very controlled environment, and the range personnel do a good job at pointing hazards out so everyone stays safe! and if you buy there membership it comes with a fancy card so you can badge in and out no problem no questions asked

Went to the Carolina Collab that was hosted at this location. Got to meet the owner and staff, they were all amazing. I will be definitely visiting this location again. The bays were states of the art. 10 out of 10 highly recommend.

I bought a Day Pass back in January to check the place out and immediately bought a membership at the end of the day. At the time they were offering a deal on memberships and I was already saving money for being a Veteran. I live an hour away from the range but it has everything I need including an archery section. The only thing I've come across which could use some improvement would be the shotgun target placement. It's hard to attach targets to and keep them in place. As a member I was able to recently take the CWP/CCW class without paying for it which was great. Jay was an excellent instructor and the class was very informative. Overall I'm very pleased with the range and my membership. While I've been there the other members and staff have always be courteous and helpful. Aaron who is always working has always been helpful. Also don't wear open toe shoes as they are not allowed 😢

This is actually the best range that I have been to, And I've shot and been in thr army for 20 years. They have rifle out to 600 yards, pistol, rim fire, and a general purpose range. The rates are reasonable, and it was a slow day so Aaron helped me shoot all the way out to 600 yards for the first time in my life. I couldn't ask for more and I will come back here regularly as long as I live here.

Had a great experience! It was clean, well thought out, and easy to access. Once they offer 30min after sundown my whole family is going to join.

This place is pretty much Disneyland for gun folks. It is clean, the staff is super friendly and helpful, and there are always lanes available - even on the weekend. Right now, the range goes out to 600 yards - but they are actively working on getting it out to 800. Highly recommend, 10/10 - head and shoulders above all their competition.

This place is definitely on the more expensive side for ranges. But it is 100% worth it. They have 5 or 6 pistol bays all set up differently. But the best part is the rifle range, it goes out to 600 yards. All of the grounds are very well kept, and the staff are amazing. Dont let the price keep you away, because you can shoot from open to close for that price.

Aaron is a arrogant racist. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Horrible treatment to Veterans and Law Enforcement officers on Veterans day. He banned my group for shooting shotguns for runs he did not make them aware of. I never shot my shotgun. I guess I was guilty by association. I wasn't shocked with his behavior as it comes with territory in small backwoods towns like this. This range is definitely for the "good ole boys". I should've received a refund as I did absolutely nothing wrong on this course but was cancelled because of a mistake of someone else.

Been to multiple indoor and outdoor ranges in the state. So many benefits and value. Not needing to be a member and get a pass, so many of the outdoor ranges here require membership or to be a guest of a member to enter, even then to be a member of some ranges requires year(s) long wait and interviews. This location does not. Other locations may offer more in some areas but that also reflects on their price of availability of their day pass and membership. champion having the best value to price ratio. Having a decent long range bay (100-600yd) which most donΓÇÖt offer. Ability to put out paper targets at the distance. Cover area with fans which help during the summer, ever weΓÇÖll built and taken care of benchs. The shooting range is taken care of so you can actually see the steel targets or paper if you choose to walk and set those up. You can tell they take pride in the facility. Then the pistol bays you being able to move and shoot. Most locations only offer standing bays and have varying rules to follow on rate of rate and reloads. Now the pistol bay many scare off some due to wide range of motion and distance, but the RSO here quick to react and monitor the area to make sure gun safety is followed. Only downside with how popular it is you may have to wait a bit to be able to use the bay but that is far and few, most people here are understanding and let you work in the same area with understanding. This area is treasure to anyone in SC. I choose to become a member here and choosing to drive an hour and half here even past many other ranges to be here. Hoping to see further expansion and improvements.

First time back since the buyout. Absolutely love this range. RSOs are super nice, helpful, and professional. Grounds were clean. There's multiple specific bays for you to work whatever you're training with, whether it be a pistol bays, the general purpose bay, or the long range bays. Definitely worth the hour and a half drive to come out there and train. Looking forward to my next visit.

I want to preface this with a few things: 1) I've been a member here for several years, since Pantaeo. 2) this is still, BY FAR, the best range in the area that doesn't require a membership. 3) Edited the review to remove (potentially) undue assumtions...i've my thoughts, we'll see if they come true, but i'll keep them to myself. 4) I understand why the following changes were made, simply stating what I don't agree with. On taking over, the first thing that was said both by Pantaeo and Champion was that nothing would change. They immediately went back on their word there. Changes made: 1) hours for members slashed by 20 hours a week (Tues - Sat 5-7, Monday 9-7). Being able to go after work during the week was a primary selling point because it was members only. ESPECIALLY during the summer. Last summer it was nearly impossible to get a bay to yourself due to overcrowding. With new management, increased advertisement, and (it looks like, from the time 20ish hours ive spent there since their acquisition) increased use, we'll see what happens. I'm not exactly excited for summer. 2) slashed the entire night shooting season to 0. This was another primary selling point of the membership. We were told "this will return in the spring", I'll be interested to see how it plays out. As described to me by an RO, it will be "once a month" or something. We'll see if this leads to overcrowding during the night shoots/make them worthless. 3) cleaned up the range. Cool, no issues with that, obviously. I'm concerned that a nicer range will attract more people through the summer months, however, which is obviously good for business but concerning for someone who is worried about it being overcrowded as is. 4) started having food trucks on weekends? I (and most, I think), go to the range to shoot, not eat. This just further adds to the overcrowding concerns in my opinion. ΓÇÉ----------------ΓÇÉ-------------------------------------- The overall facility has been much better kept since they've acquired it, there's absolutely no doubt about it. Again, let me finish by saying this is still, HANDS DOWN, the best range in the area. Especially for non members / non matches. The ability to move and shoot is wonderful. The staff is always pleasant to deal with. Being able to go to 600 and turn around and work on a 270┬░ bay is wonderful. There's just been some major changes in recent months, and I'm concerned but curious how they'll further evolve.

Excellent faculty, safe, clean, with a wide range of targets to practice on and fire arms to fire with! Jay, Phylicia and the staff are amazing, true subject matter experts who treated us all with professionalism and patience! My favorite range in SC and their store is great too where I was able to buy and order everything I needed!

Even though I was in the Army for 21 years, I was not trained to use a handgun and, honestly, I am afraid of guns. Going through the training today was amazing! Jay and his team did an excellent job of explaining each part of the gun, how to load and unload, and the logic behind everything he explained. To say Jay is a great trainer is an understatement. He made it fun while explaining the seriousness of handling a firearm. Today was great and I learned a lot but look forward to going back again…and taking my family so they will know the proper way to use a firearm!! (I hope I am using the right language. In the Army we learned to call it a weapon but that was a long time ago! LOL) Thanks Phylicia for hosting us!

If I could give this place 0 out of 5 stars I would. Memberships are overpriced. Just an individual membership by itself is $350. Family memberships are $400. Staff is unfriendly, and god forbid you want to shoot your gun. I was a first time visitor to this facility because I was looking for an outdoor range to go shoot some of my shotguns due to fact that none of the indoor ranges around Columbia allow them unless you shoot slugs (Good luck finding them these days because people hog them), and this will be the last time I visit this facility. When I walked in the lady spent 90% of her time trying to market to me their memberships instead of just allowing me to go out to the range which I only signed up for a one day pass for. (Overpriced again at $30.00) When I get out to the shotgun range there was another individual there. He picked the alley he wanted to shoot on, and I picked mine. I'm one pass in, and next thing you know he goes up to the office to falsely claim that I was muzzling him. Which mind you I wasn't, and I was practicing common sense gun safety at the range. Her and a few other gentleman come down to the range behind my back as I'm going through my second pass, and I turn around to see them standing there like they're a bunch of FBI agents trying to pull intimidation tactics on me claiming that I wasn't following their protocols. I told them I was, and they left. Which at this point I'm just thinking their trying to treat me differently because I didn't buy their membership. The individual that was still down at the range continued to throw a fit so I packed up my stuff and left. For anyone that's planning to go to this range please for the love of god don't. This place is a scam, and their memberships are overpriced. If you don't buy their memberships they will try to pull intimidation tactics on you, and you're better off going somewhere else. I rest my case. 0 out of 5 and if it were possible I'd give you guys a negative rating after the way I was treated here.

I had not been to a shooting range since I left the Army over twenty years ago and was a little hesitant when the owners wanted to book my wife's food truck Kusina Filipina for the day. At the end of the day we were so impressed by the generosity of everyone we engaged with was very welcoming. The owners went over and above to make our experience and great time and I would highly recommend this complex for beginners and experienced gun owners. Can't wait to book again and get our shot on. My wife even fired my 9mm.

Yeah man I went there for the first time last weekend and IΓÇÖm well pleased with the entire facility. The staff are courteous and professional and they treat you with respect. The target selection is awesome; I took advantage of the steel targets on the pistol range. IΓÇÖm buying a membership soon. Top notch in my opinion.
