I am writing this review regarding the HGP training. While the training itself was fine, I am extremely disappointed that at no point was it communicated that individuals with an honorable military discharge are exempt from this requirement. I have now paid for this course twice ΓÇö once for the initial training in Glen Burnie and again for the renewal in Severn ΓÇö and neither time was this important information disclosed. It feels like a complete waste of money, especially since I only found out about the exemption directly from MSP. Had this been made clear upfront, I would have never enrolled. The only way to make this right would be to issue a full refund. Thank you for your understanding.

Best place to shoot or learn. Great variety of new and used firearms spot. Very knowledgeable employees who know their guns, especially Chris very very knowledgeable even with the laws, no question unanswered.

The staff working here are great and helpful. It gets super busy on weekends and some lanes do get crowded. Having a membership helps with the wait time since you can call ahead of time to put your name down instead of going there to put your name down for a lane and waiting there. It's very nice that they have a stool, bench, and rest blocks for shooting rifles; very helpful at zeroing your sights. Just a tip, go to the Severn, MD range if you don't want to hear folks shooting shotguns. Only pistols and rifles are allowed here up to a certain caliber of course; their FAQs has more details. I do get nervous sometimes with the amount of people on the lanes compared to the number of RSOs around - maybe the system works and I'm missing something. I can't blame 'em, it's a popular range since there aren't many gun ranges around this part of Maryland. Overall, it's a very well kept place for shooting guns or if you're looking to buy a new gun. I highly recommend this place. They should open a third range :-)

Rude employee sours an otherwise top notch range. Went here on a busy day and was attended by a angry guy with a white beard. I didn't do anything but the routine check in. I'm reading my name off to him and he has a pissed expression. He asks me my middle initial, its noisy and I say come again, he goes, "MIDDLE INITIAL", eyes bugging, eyebrows clearly angry. He goes "it's going to be an hour wait to you want to go on the list?" I say something like, "yeah I figured it would be busy" he goes, "DO YOU WANT TO GO ON THE LIST", I say yes, thank you and walk away. I come back early, here my name called, get checked in, he says my lane and because I like to double up on ear pro, I ask, "can I can ear plugs". He shakes his head, "Should have came prepared." Not a joke, being dead serious. ??? I get it, its busy, lot of people asking questions or being obnoxious can be stressful, but I wasn't doing any of that. Very routine interaction, it could've been neutral at worst, but I just can't believe how unwelcoming this guy was. I'll be avoiding him at all costs, who knows what mood he will be in.

My friends and I had an amazing time at Cindy’s hotshots!! Jordan especially was super kind, helpful, accommodating, and funny😁 I will definitely be coming back bc it’s a great way to spend an afternoon!

Went there early in the morning, waited for first lane. Very well designed lanes and easy to set electronic target distance. Staff was helpful, knowledgeable and friendly but not pushy. They were able to suggest a defense handgun for my wife that was easier for her to rack.

The staff here are exceptionally friendly and helpful. They seem to genuinely enjoy their jobs and enjoy helping customers. The range staff help clean the lanes for you, are attentive, and enforce rules that keep you safe without being overbearing or a pain about it. The sales staff will go out of their way to help you try different items, configurations, and will even lookup items online for products they suggest but may not carry or donΓÇÖt have in stock. Will continue to shop and shoot here.

I LOVE IT HERE❤️ I came to the shooting range with my friend for the first time and was a little bit scared not gonna lie, but the staff here really made me feel safe and didn’t try to mansplain things to me and my friend. I had a great learning experience and everyone was so friendly and nice. I’m definitely coming back here again. Easily one of the best experiences I’ve had this past year so thank you so much! Tom Quick was very helpful with information about handguns. I needed one with easy release of the mag and an easy slide. Jordan helped me with the purchase and use on the range. Employees at this location practice excellent customer service.

Cindy Hot Shots bought this place and made it better than the previous ownership with brighter lighting and electronic control of target distance. The shop was crowded but the wait time for me was under 20 minutes on a busy Sunday afternoon. Range officers are courteous and helpful. The staff are not stuffy like many shops IΓÇÖve been to. The range has a handwashing station and two bathrooms. The range provides gun rests and stool that you can use to sight in your guns. Based on how the walls and ceilings are shot up here in such a short time, one can deduce that there are lots of new shooters practicing here. The range safety offices seem to keep things in control. Now a few unpleasant parts: some staff members seem a bit chummy with customers in street language usage, membership pricing in the shop is more expensive than what is advertised on their website, and the minimum of 3-month commitment for membership was not shown on their website. Update: Management promptly responded and explained that there is a 10% entertainment tax added to membership fees, and acknowledged discrepancy in their website. If you use firearms not for entertainment and need range time to keep your skills sharp, you may disagree with the added tax.
