To say I was on shaky ground starting off my journey would be an under statement. I had my CC permit, I had my gun, but I was really struggling with nerves about learning to shoot. My experience with CFI turned that around! From coordinating with Jess about my appointment time and her patience in answering all my questions, to Brian's calm, easy-going, yet detailed instructions, the whole experience left me feeling good about moving forward in my training. It's a little bit of a drive for me, but I'm looking at my schedule to see just how often I can go back to CFI and Clark Bros. Thank you, CFI!! Update: I recently had another fantastic experience with CFI. I had a very specific goal in mind. Jess, the magic scheduling coordinator, paired me up with Mimi. Mimi is marvelous! We had a good time while she listened to my ideas and questions, did some observations, provided me with some great tips to help hone my skills, and ultimately helped me get set up to achieve my goal. These folks really know their stuff and I can't say enough about how attentive they are. Thank you again!

Chris was awesome! He made me feel completely at home and welcome, and seemed to know some of the questions I was going to ask before I thought of them. He was very comfortable with his info and seemed to be able to instill that confidence in me too. I recommend CFI to anyone that is looking for professional training.

My daughter and I have been working with Chris and the CFI team for 2 years. We started out brand new and from basic pistol 01 never having shot before and they showed us everything we needed to know can't recommend the team enough especially if you're a new shooter!

I took the basic pistol course with Brian. It was excellent and everything I hoped it would be. Brian is a great teacher and very patient. I left feeling confident in handling, disassembling, cleaning, and firing my gun. I highly recommend CFI.

Great, professional instruction based on safety first. I'm better after the instruction which says it all. All this and Chris and Brian are also very good guys as well as instructors. Would recommend to everyone who wants to learn and improve in a comfortable atmosphere.

Had the opportunity to do a little training at CFI over the weekend and it was a great time. The instructors I met were all super knowledgeable and really helpful. My instructor Chandler was fantastic, I am sometimes a slow learner and need repeat instruction but he never got annoyed or impatient with me and just kept showing me what I needed to do. I didnΓÇÖt train any with Chris but was able to witness first hand his passion for teaching new students as there was a family there being introduced to the gun world. They had a child who was ΓÇ£gun shyΓÇ¥ and Chris spent over an hour with them instructing and making the little boy feel comfortable. I could tell he genuinely loves teaching and passing on the knowledge he has. I canΓÇÖt think of a better place for first time shooters or anyone really to learn the ins and outs of firearms and firearm safety. I highly recommend CFI to anyone wishing to advance their knowledge in the gun space.

Two months ago, I was your typical uneducated person when it comes to guns, complete with assumptions about what the gun shop/range experience would be like. CFI and Clark Bros. has respectfully proven me very wrong. I cannot say enough good things about CFI. I thought IΓÇÖd take one intro class to become more comfortable with firearms and be relieved to not have to go back. I keep returning week after week because it turns out I enjoy learning this new skill with CFI. The instructors are deeply knowledgeable, experienced, and have an interest in my growth. I feel safe, encouraged and empowered every time I attend a class. IΓÇÖm still nervous, but the CFI instructors keep me showing up. Also, there are women instructors. Having another woman on the range that embodies the same confidence and skills as the men hits different. Five star operation!

We went to Cobalt Firearm Instruction as a group of 6 people from Spain to have a first contact with the world of firearms. And of course our instructors, Frank and Mimi, exceeded our expectations. It was an incredible experience that we highly recommend！10/10

I am a huge fan of Cobalt. I told Brian up front that I was a total firearm novice and just wanted to learn how to handle and shoot my weapon safely. Brian was awesome - he was very clear in his instruction and emphasized attention to detail at every step. His decades of experience are obvious. I will be arranging lessons for my wife very soon - highly recommend.

I started my shooting ΓÇ£obsessionΓÇ¥ just wanting to get my conceal carry permit. I asked if I could sign up for a class beforehand just to gain a little knowledge about some basics. I had never even shot a handgun more than a couple rounds, let alone with help. I was super intimidated at first feeling like a fish out of water. Let me tell you, the whole CFI family and Clark Brothers were so welcoming and helpful and 2 years later I am taking weekly lessons, still learning and loving every minute of it. If you plan to carry do yourself a huge favor and let the awesome instructors at CFI help you feel comfortable and competent with your firearm, you will not regret it!! I am no spring chicken, and if CFI can transform me into a competent shooter, you will find yourself loving it too in no time, even if it seems scary at first!

Cobalt is an excellent range with top-notch instructors! Our organization recently hosted a "Day at the Range" group training session with college-age women at Cobalt and were so grateful for the experience. The trainees left their day at Cobalt feeling more confident and comfortable in their use of firearms thanks to the care the range's team took in putting together such a fun, informative training session.
