Couldn't have asked for a better instructor. My wife and I are starting long range shooting, with zero experience. Daniel took the time to make sure we had good fundamentals and understanding of the equipment prior to the range. He got us solid on our zero. At the end of the day, 1000 meter shots were feeling routine. Ranges are fantastic. If you're not shooting here, you're missing out.

My husband and I took a class today with Dan Posey. His instruction was everything and more. Consistency and repeatability.. exceptional and very patient with us. Despite the weather, we were still able to put rounds down range at 800 and 1000 meters and be successful. His instruction has set us up for success and we are grateful. Thanks Dan!

This is by far the best training and shooting facility on the East Coast. Before opening to members it was a military and LEO facility first and continues that tradition by closing bays and ranges for those groups. The calendar on the website is always up to date and shows you whatΓÇÖs open and closed pretty far into the future. A solid combination of 100 yard sighting bays (bench rest) and dynamic free movement bays including 300 meter steel with optional bench rests for carbine. The range has a 270┬░ bay for dynamic (pistol rifle shotgun) free shooting and multiple dynamic pistol bays. The 1200 yard and 1 mile ELR bays are wonderful and YES!!!! You CAN bring your .408 CheyTac, .338 Lapua or .50 Browning!!!!!!! They request that you shoot 400 yards and out to preserve all the steel within 300 yards which is totally reasonable. No calling ahead is necessary to shoot the larger calibers though .408 and .50 will end up getting people to move to other ranges so think of others before doing so. The place is members only and you along with other shooters are your only RSOs. For issues you can call down to the main building, the site also has some signal being mostly on top of a mountain with clear lines of sight for miles in most directions. ColemanΓÇÖs also hosts monthly NV shoots on the first Friday and Saturday of the month. I highly recommend if you want to go frequently to go on those days to maximize your efficiency, training, and learning opportunities. The TLDR is that ColemanΓÇÖs is an amazing members only range with lanes for just about everything you could possibly want. Its members only and you donΓÇÖt have RSOs breathing down your neck (itΓÇÖs not an excuse to be reckless) as long as youΓÇÖre handling firearms safely (slinged when not in use, or pointed at the ground etc) you can freely walk or drive around the facility armed to the teeth body armor and all though I recommend driving as the facility is MASSIVE!!!!

I Joined about a month ago and this place is incredible. I shoot long range precision and there is no other range in North Carolina like it. Top notch quality and never too crowded. I can show up on a Saturday and there is always a place to shoot. Super nice staff and lots of great people.

This is THE absolute best place to go and shoot pretty much anything. So very glad I went this past Saturday it was worth the long drive and getting to see all the other shooters there with their rigs was absolutely amazing it was my first time shooting past 500yds and being able to hit one of the 1000 yd targets multiple times was an awesome accomplishment. Can't wait to head there again!!! Absolutely great!!

I went to the range with Mike McCann who is a member and I can't say enough about this place. We got there at 9 and didn't leave until closing time. The facility was clean and majority of the ranges were covered. The most steel I've ever seen. The staff was amazing also. Weither your a pistol shooter, tactical man or a long range champion this place has something for everyone!

Best long range around. Has ranges for every type of shooting. Was able to practice drawing and shooting while moving in the bays. Has friendly knowledgeable staff.

Myself and two buddy's took the long range 101 class with Dan and Bryce this past weekend. We learned a lot and all had hits at 1275 yards. The ranges are top notch and so are the people. We had a new guy with us and Dan took his time with him to make sure he was on target and explained different aspects of shooting to him. Will be joining or going back for sure.

The best long range facility IΓÇÖve seen in the country! Lots of props to work positional shooting and all the target distances you could ask for. Even some nerds with steel to go out and with on pistol with! Great facility! Great staff!

This is By Far the BEST shooting range I have ever been to. My wife feels the same way. All that staff are very friendly and helpful. The other shooters are great too and always willing to help you learn something and help you become a better shooter.

ColemanΓÇÖs creek has the variety of ranges for any shooter. Up close and personal bays and distance shooting to a mile. Various types of competitions that are first class. The management and staff are awesome too. First name personal service.
