Q: Is it 30.00 a person or can 2 share a lane

A: If you're asking about the fees at the shooting range, it's 30 dollars a shooter all day if you're not a member.

Q: What r the requirements coming from Illinois. Crossing state line to go to the range there!

A: I heard Illinois people are not welcome, just saying

A: I was a member back in 2005, 2006. I was from Illinois and nobody even asked me where I was from. Had to put my address on my membership app but that was it. And yes, WI has no FOID cards and I don't remember having to show mine but then again I don't remember purchasing ammo there either.

- JOHN R (3 years ago)

A: So Wisconsin has no foid cards etc IΓÇÖm pretty sure u wonΓÇÖt have issues

A: Thank you

- Fabian Ochoa (7 years ago)

Q: Do you supply practice guns? I am thinking about getting my first gun and would like to fire several different ones before I decide. Thanks.

A: I don't think they supply rentals, but I'd recommend taking a basic firearms course and you can learn about different guns there. I'd recommend Red Dot Arms in Lake Villa.

- Steve S (7 years ago)

A: If you're looking for shotgun rentals, Winchester Gun Club in Franksville (east and north just off of I 94 exit K) rents Browning shotguns for use at their venue (trap, skeet, sporting clays and 5 stand).

- JOHN R (3 years ago)

A: CCKC does not have rentals -- check out your local Bass Pro shop.

I have shot here for years, still my favorite range, fees are reasonable, rules are a bit strict but that is for safety, the RO's are hit or miss. The place could use a refurbishing, starting to look run down. Limited days and hours open is another downside. Range is only 100 and 200 yards. You still will get some noob on the weekends that does not know the rules and my muzzle flash you so be aware of those types, usually you can see them a mile away and can move spots.

Shoot guns drunk! Yell and toss trash! "Conservation" is the opposite of these guys. cheap tho, so shoot to your heart's content.

The safety officers are top notch at the shotgun and pistol ranges! I was new to shooting trap and had never fired a gun before our visit. Our group went out with a range safety officer, Maryann, who gave me a wonderful first experience. She was kind, helpful, and incredibly knowledgeable. She even sent me off with some tips to help practice my form for next time. My mother tried out the pistol range with her new revolver, which she hadn't fired before, and had multiple officers help her get more familiar. They made sure she understood how to safely manage the weapon at the range, helped fine tune her hold, and even helped tweak her aim so she saw some success. She left with much more confidence than she went in. We'll definitely be back!

Well I have been going there since 95. Long time. Rules are rules and free country if you don't like use another range. The rso's. Well good and bad of course. I have see the range opened with people down still at the targets. Not a good thing of course. Im happy no rapid fire there. Soooooo annoying in closed range and just rata tat ta. I think they believe they gangstas🤣🤣🤣 Anyways the ranges are good from pistol to rifle to blackpowder and the skeet range the one time I shot

Great outdoor range. They have a 100 and 200 yard line that was ideal for sighting in my rifle.

Very helpful and professional range officers. They have a ton of bays, along with heated bay options. Trap fields are great too.

Nice range for zeroing, 15 min shooting intervals were nice. Seemed very safe, with RSO's looking out. Only downsides are the 5 round mag limit and no rapid firing.

The range is run by Fudds. These people over charge to exercise your 2nd amendment rights. Not just with a 200 dollar membership. But also 20 or so dollars after you are a member a day as well. Too many rules as well. People who run this range are prime examples of why we are losing our gun rights in America. Because they only care about their hunting rifles and shotguns. Not caring if anything else gets banned.

Rules are horrible.. very expensive. ItΓÇÖs as if Illinois politicians made a gun club.

One of the most fudd ranges IΓÇÖve ever been to. IΓÇÖm active duty so I take advantage of the member rates occasionally. The actual range facilitates are nice, and unfortunately thatΓÇÖs where the good ends and the bad begins. The people here are some of the worst IΓÇÖve ever dealt with at any range. Almost everyone here thinks the 2A was made for hunting weapons and nobody seems to understand that there were weapons made after the 1911 and M14. Every time I go there IΓÇÖm the only one there who has weapons that were made after 1963. I always get bad looks and people (both RSOΓÇÖs and regular shooters) grilling me about my weapons and asking why I need 30 rounds in a mag and optics and lasers and all that stuff. My answer is always the same, itΓÇÖs because I can have that stuff and itΓÇÖs cool. Like I said the actual range is nice, and most of the staff is friendly so I like to go here when itΓÇÖs not busy since i have the membership rate, but the people that come here mostly ruin it for me.

I was a member here for years. I went there regularly, was part of the trap league for many seasons and always enjoyed my time there. On my last-and-final trip there, a range officer who I had known for years made a real scene about the type of shotgun shells that I was using and did so in front of my out of town guests. It was embarrassing and inexcusable. That kind of obnoxious behavior is enough to make me despise this place. I will never return.
