Conservation Park of Virginia

Q: Why are you listed if youΓÇÖre private. Further more why are you still listed if you arenΓÇÖt taking members. The lady wouldnΓÇÖt even entertain me trying to become a member just in case in the future a spot might open up.
A: This place is listed so that if you want to become a member - you'll know of it's existence. Regardless of full membership ranks, why would it be taken down just because of that?

They are over 100 people back on applicants, if you aren't sponsored that will hold things up, no photos and ways to view or decide if even intersted without giving your information first. Staff was friendly on the phone. Best of luck

Laura and Kevin are top notch hosts. Brought my camper up for 3 events over the last month. Accomodstions were perfect. Skeet fields were right on point. Anything we needed they were on it. Kids had a great time keeping Mrs. Laura entertained. Looking forward to future shoots at Conservation Park

I have been a member for over 20 years. The club has more than 10 combination trap/skeet fields. Also a wobble/5stand trap range. (I have not used it so I not sure how it works.) There is also a pattern board for your shotgun. The club also has one 100 yard rifle range, 1 approximately 25 yard utility range (handguns any caliber and rimfire rifle only.) There is also two 50 yard ranges. On one you can shoot anything you have and one for handguns and rimfire rifles only. All four of these ranges are covered. (Not trap/skeet or wobble trap/5stand ranges.) The rifle, the shoot what you got and the pistol/rimfire rifle range have benches for your equipment and to shoot from. The club also has a large clubhouse with attached patio with picnic tables and a soda machine. There are hiking trails and plenty of places to watch the wildlife. It is a conservation club so it is managed to support the local flora and fauna. Club manager Kevin and club secretary Laura are very nice. The clubhouse is open Wednesday thru Sunday (indoor bathrooms and a place to cool off if you want.) Kevin and Laura are not available Monday and Tuesday. They would be happy to answer any questions by phone or email (Tuesday thru Sunday. But not after five.) Lastly, the club is gated so you need a code to get in. There is no general public access. You have to be a member! Call or email to get more information. Contact information is on the website. Conservation Park of Virginia. There is a $500 initiation fee to join. Annual dues are $200. The dues cover everyone living in the same household. You can bring a quest 3 times per year.

You have to understand that this is a unique membership-only organization dedicated to the shooting sports, wildlife management, and conservation. As to the shooting sports, I've been to a number of well-known venues around the country, and the Conservation Park of Virginia ranks up there at the top: Excellent facilities, clubhouse, fields, grounds, all beautifully maintained. Wonderful place.
