Q: IΓÇÖm visiting Des Moines for a couple days and only have sandals. Does this range allow open toed shoes on the fire range? I know some ranges do not allow sandals.
A: There is not a hard rule on sandals, but prefer you wear close toed shoes to minimize the risk of getting a brass burn.

Q: Can you shoot ak 47 and Thompson ( say hello to my little friend)
A: I thought everything up to 7.62 was good at least, depending on bullet type of course. I bring my AR-15. Nice place
- Brian Black (7 years ago)
A: Yes itΓÇÖs ok IΓÇÖve shot a Draco 7.62x39 there as long as itΓÇÖs not auto or quick firing
- Justin Lovan (6 years ago)
A: Honestly not sure. I would think it would be ok.
- Rich Higgins (7 years ago)
Q: Is the range open to public? How much does it cost?
A: Yes it is. There is an annual fee and then there is a daily fee that is good all day. You can leave and go back however much you want in a day. I don't remember for sure what the amount of the daily fee was. You could go to their website and check it out.
- Teri Rumley (7 years ago)
A: It's open to the public. You don't have to be a member. $20 a day- for all day. No shotguns. Check with them for large calibers.
- Linda Scott (6 years ago)
Q: I was wondering if high velocity rounds (green-tip 5.56) are able to be used at the range. Thanks!
A: They arenΓÇÖt.
- CrossRoads Shooting Sports (a month ago)
Q: Do I have to have a permit to bring a gun and shoot

Q: How much does it cost to rent?
A: Typically 10 to 20 dollars however the cool thing is it works for multiple pistols if your thinking about buying a new firearm and want to try some different ones out they only charge you the one rental fee over multiple firearms.
- Allegheny Prepper (2 years ago)
Q: Do you rent out guns and is a membership reqiured for someone to come and shoot for a day
A: Yes they rent guns. Also no membership required. There is a 12.00 waiver fee. Best to do on line before you go.
- Paul Sawyer (6 years ago)

I accidentally left 3 firearms on the range. I left the building and returned later. Thankfully they did have them. I was in a rush and needed to leave, they said they would keep the guns if I left again (not letting them keep 4000 in guns) wait for a government 4473 form to authorize, which does not always go quickly, or I would owe them $200 for, and I quote "wasting their time" I apologize for forgetting something and wanting it back. I will get my property back, even if I have to pay. I advise anyone using their services to be very careful and to never forget that leaving a firearm on the range isn't a crime. Coercion is. They "wasted" 2 hours of my time today. I was late to my meeting. Today I lost more than my guns. I lost respect for this business. I advise people to find a better range, this one does not post their policies, and their customer service is poor. Oh and the "membership" is a cool way of them suckering 34.95 from my pocket to shoot high priced ammo in a climate controlled environment. The prices for ammo is out of hand. 75 for 100 rounds of 9mm and 38 special? Give me a break. I will find a better range or just man up if it's cold.

Tried telling me they didnΓÇÖt take my passport as an ID even though IΓÇÖve been here before and have used it before. They donΓÇÖt take shooters an hour before closing and itΓÇÖs not listed anywhere, asked for a bullet to be removed because I didnΓÇÖt pull back far enough. When I asked for my bullet back he said he tossed it even tho it wasnΓÇÖt jammed. Not too sure why heΓÇÖd throw away a good bullet and wouldnΓÇÖt let me dig thru the bucket. ItΓÇÖs my money if I feel like digging I feel like I shouldΓÇÖve been allowed
