This is my favorite range and gun store. My husband and I got our CWP here. We both feel comfortable here. I love that y'all are a local family-owned shop and that you offer shooting classes just for women who are first-timers. Y'all's shop is the place I've felt most comfortable at. Y'all have been completely patient, polite, and pleasant every time I've or we've been here. Even when talking me through all my options after I finally found the handgun I wanted to buy. Thanks for being awesome!

C&S is great! Everything from their CWP class, their range, gun knowledge, gun smithing, sales, etc is top notch. The staff is always pleasant, knowledgeable, and willing to help. Safety is a priority here. Enjoyed coming here so much that I bought a membership.

The people who work here are nice...so so so very nice and professional on top of it.😁 Also they are honest and truly nice not like fake nice...some places just spread that sort of vibe around and wow...did I feel it.🙂 I'm considered more liberal (nowadays being an economic conservative and socially liberal is considered liberal others shifted their values and Ive just been chilling). I don't think we should identify with right nor left. I'm pro-2A and believe we all should arm ourselves no matter some of our differences one thing each of us are...we are Americans and the 2nd ammendment is there to give power to the people. What we need is training and guess what? C&S sports has the best trainers. I've been impressed! Dan and Nick have taught me so much in such a short amount of time. Want to learn rifles? They've got you covered! You can come in with some knowledge and they can show you first hand how to take book learning into practical learning. I simply want to learn all different kids of ways to practice self defense which also includes what these folks have. They made me feel like no matter what your background or political views...we were here for one thing...shooting sports, self defense, SAFETY, and being polite. And right now, I think the world and the planet need some checks and balances and by not allowing bullies to push us around. Knowing self defense and how to be comfortable AND SAFE around non lethal, semi lethal and lethal weapons are of utmost importance. You know how they say when you are selling some a product or service that you are selling "you"?...well they hit that one on the head. I like their "aura" I know that sounds hippy but I kinda like it. Let's show each other that we can all agree on some things that unify us. Protecting ourselves ensures we always have a voice and we can stick up for those that cannot defend themselves. E Pluribus Unum!!! 🇺🇲✊️ Thank You and I look forward to more visits.

This place is great! Took my 16 year old daughter because this was something she wanted to do. Had a lesson and the instructor was AMAZING!! Name was Cambell (probably have spelling wrong) and he was just awesome! Definitely going back!

I haven't shot a gun before in my life, so when I went to the US I thought the first thing I would do is exactly that! It was extremely fun and I felt very safe. The staff was super friendly and helpful when showing me how to actually use a firearm 😅 Prices for ammo and weapon renting for the range are very affordable. If you are looking for a proper shooting range in Charleston, this is it!

First visit! Nancy is as sweet as pie. I did visit the Palmetto Armoury in Summerville but their customer service doesn't come close to the friendly customer service at C&S shooting sports!

My favorite gun store and range, hands down, of all time. Awesome people, extremely knowledgeable, and friendly for everyone. For the seasoned old timer or first time shooter, this is the best place to go.

Absolutely love this place. TheyΓÇÖre always so helpful and very welcoming to new shooters that I bring in. However, on our last visit after the range, we decided to take a peak around the front of the store and ask some questions. One gentleman (donΓÇÖt know his name but seemed to be the only person of color behind the counter that day) was hesitant to help us and when we asked questions, gave us one worded, sarcastic responses as if he was trying to patronize us. When asked ΓÇ£What do you carry?ΓÇ¥ He responded, ΓÇ£With whatever I choose to carry that day.ΓÇ¥ Just unprofessional and no way to sell someone on a firearm. Otherwise. Bella and Sarge the two range pups are awesome and 99% of the time a fantastic place to shoot!

This was my first time there and I had so much fun. I did a first shot class and learned a lot. I had a great instructor and friendly staff. I recommend this facility to anyone. I will be back thanks for all you guys help.

We had an amazing experience at C&S Shooting. We tried both handguns and rifles and our money was well spend! Mason showed us how the guns worked and did a well job teaching us as beginners

After doing a lot of research I decided this would be a good place to bring my niece when she asked for help learning to shoot. I booked us for 1 hour of private instruction and we had an absolute blast. My niece is very shy and timid, I was concerned weΓÇÖd encounter your stereotypical 20 something year old range ΓÇ£expertΓÇ¥. Our instructor, Jed was the most patient and thorough instructor, almost fatherly in his instruction. On the drive home my niece told me how much fun she had and she canΓÇÖt wait until we can go back. IΓÇÖve been shooting for somewhere around 15 years and never had a pleasant range experience with range staff until yesterday at C&S. ItΓÇÖs about an hour and a half drive from where I live in Beaufort county but after yesterday, itΓÇÖs a drive I expect make many more times in the future. I absolutely recommend booking a session with Jed, especially if youΓÇÖve ever had a less than desirable experience at any other range.

My wife and I stopped in to get some basic firearm safety education as well as for help selecting her first pistol for concealed carry; the staff at C&S Shooting Sports was absolutely outstanding! Dan kindly gave us a detailed introduction to the basics of shooting etiquette and also helped us pick out several pistols to test on the range before making our purchase, and Josh gave us a great deal of help finding an AWESOME deal on the handgun model we decided on! These guys know what theyΓÇÖre doing, and theyΓÇÖre passionate about firearm safety and education. Very welcoming and friendly place for shooters of all skill levels. The store has a very large inventory, lots to browse through and everything seemed to be very fairly priced! The firing range was great and began with a safety briefing, and staff was present on the range for any needed assistance. We even booked a one on one class with Josh for further coaching. CanΓÇÖt wait for our next visit! 10/10

IΓÇÖve been shooting here twice so far, once earlier this year with my father as a birthday present, and just recently with my mother. Both times were absolutely AMAZING experiences, the staff is extremely helpful and considerate to everyone of any skill level, they truly are a great representation of southern hospitality, Also they have the cutest most friendly dog ever just chilling in the store. Renting here is not only inexpensive but extremely enjoyable and fun to do. Wether itΓÇÖs instruction, training, or just renting / shooting, i guarantee youΓÇÖll have a great experience here.

C&S is personally one of my, if not my favorite range in the Charleston area. The owners are the nicest family and extremely knowledgeable on firearms and related products. Really enjoy when I come in, it feels like walking into an old friends house and having a good time. If you’re looking for a first time, or hundredth, C&S shooting is the best place in the Charleston area to shoot. They also have some of those… full auto firearms you can rent… and some suppressed guns for those unsure about how nice it is to shoot with a can… C&S is the place to be
