It's always a pleasure stopping in to browse. I'm in Goshen, so I don't tend to stop in the Sloatsburg store. Mistake on my part! Wow, incredible selection 👏🏾 The two young men in the front. Super polite/helpful right away. The gentleman in the back, firearms section. A++ service from the start. I think the gentleman that helped me was Donnie?? Sorry, please forgive me if I'm wrong. He walked me through the whole competition shooting side of things. As I was truly interested in signing up for my 1st match. We also took a look at several firearms, as well as went into detail about each one. I have to say it again, we reside in a tough state. Firearms / ammo is under so much state control. You need to have some patience. Not wanting to wait 10-20-30min on such a serious matter. It's the state that we live in. Blame your state people, not the shop. I intend on keeping my hard earned dollars 💸 local. Davis family & staff are highly skilled professionals. They know exactly what they are doing 💯 I'm always treated exceptionally well. As all other customers are when they enter the shop. I highly recommend Davis Shooting Sports! Trust me, negative reviews are from negative people.

I went to Davis Sport Shop for a non-resident license today and picked up some gear as well. I must say that it was an unexpected pleasure in these days of grouchy, disgruntled work staff all over but not here at Davis. THANK YOU, guys, for the great, friendly help...I'll be back!

Good selection of fishing gear and useful items to help you succeed on the water. Not a fashion shop... But you can get what you need here on your way to the lakes just a bit north.

Great place to get all your hunting,fishing and outdoors equipment. These guys are all in. Love the other locations shooting range and shop also. I will always spend a little more and support a business like Davis sport shop. Wayne personally gave me some shooting tips at the range one day. Great to see an owner in the trenches with his crew helping the sport. Thanks guys

Great selection and knowledgeable friendly staff. I have bought different shooting and hunting items at Davis for years. They have always helped me choose the right products from holsters to red dots. Great place I highly recommend you check it out.

Davis Sport Shop is a total find for us newbies in the hobby world! My partner and I couldn't be happier stumbling upon this local gem packed with all sorts of cool stuff! So just wanted to share my experience at Davis sports shop, I went there to get new fishing line on my new real, upon speaking with a young gentleman working behind the counter I explained to him what I wanted on the reel, he then proceeded very politely to advise me what he thought I should be putting on the reel, and explain why it would be the better choice, I also needed some new fishing tackle and he advised me what to use and what size for the particular fish that I was fishing for. I must say that when I left the store I was totally satisfied that I chose to go there instead of some of the other larger fishing and tackle stores. My experience at that store when I left was five star, I highly recommend shopping there. 4/6/24

The staff at Davis are highly knowledge with all items in the store. There is an incredible selection of everything you could possibly need for Outdoors, Sporting and Firearms. You are not rushed to hurry up and buy. The staff is willing to answer all of your questions to assure that you are comfortable with what you are getting. Prices are fantastic. Basically in my opinion, if you cannot find it at Davis you don't need it.
