Deep Creek shooting range

Great range! Was a little apprehensive after reading some terrible reviews but my friend I had zero issues. RSO was super nice. Bring $5 dollar bills or smaller to pay if youΓÇÖre not a member and bring a staple gun. Smallest denomination we had was a $20 but we ran into the RSO and she was able to break it for us.

All of you complaining about the rudness of the ower. Probably didn't fallow the rules and us there who take gun safety seriously don't really want you there.

My son and his fried weren't even out of their vehicle and the owner was yelling at them. I'll be going there tomorrow to have a chat with him.

The owner of this range is HORRIBLE!!!! He is rude, disrespectful, unprofessional, and makes up rules as he goes. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB.

The harassment was over the top, spend the money and get a membership at the range out by east Missoula. DonΓÇÖt even bother coming here

Great spot. The rules take a bit of reading but are easy enough to understand if you've been to other rural ranges. Plenty of options for members, plus the caretaker/RO is a cool guy. During my sign-up process even the cat was friendly. Would recommend.

Favorable first non-shooting look/visit. Caretaker saw us & greeted us over fence, amicably. Unable to find public range rules on web site. Confusing range use availability times - needs extensive editing. I shot NRA hi-power for 2 years ending with an expert rating and would like to shoot paper & steel at 500 meters but am confused as to when a club member can do this & if steel targets are permitted. All range rules need to be edited & published in a clear & understandable non conflicting manner - sort of like English 101.

Do not waste your time here. The old man will berate and harass you with his megaphone. My daughter went and got our money back and we got out of there! Last time I checked we live in the USA and have complete freedom over our ears, family members etc. not the old man on a power trip.

If I could give Zero stars I would. The owner is horrible! Went with my husband and my kiddos (12&7). Husband was shooting and I was supervising my 7 year old shoot his 22 rifle. The owner came up to us and said that my kid was playing around with the gun and was going to shoot someone. My son kept the gun pointed down range the whole time and was shooting the target perfectly. Apparently I wasn't good enough to supervise him and wanted my husband too. My 7year old was so upset and started to cry. I calmed my kid down told him he did nothing wrong and we finished out the day. It was our first time here and we are not coming back.

Shot a 3-Gun Lever Action Match there over the Labor Day Weekend. Great range to shoot. Match was well ran and had a good time.

Great experience, the guy who everyone complains about seems to be completely misunderstood. He is hard of hearing, and doesn't tolerate any dangerous practices which is a good combination for a misunderstanding. High quality range with fewer rules than the deer creek range.

Very nice spot. The man that these people are complaining about is just doing his job. He's actually pretty cool.
